The daytime running light and blinker went out way sooner than it should have and cost a fortune to replace just for it to fail again in another year. I had only owned the car for 8 months before they went out. It is unsafe and absolutely should be fixed when this is a well known issue with this year, make, and model vehicle. So many people have the exact same issue and it should be fixed. It’s just going to happen again. I have 4 kids and it is unsafe to be driving with no blinker but cost almost $2000 to replace and I cannot do that. When so many people have the exact same issue, there should absolutely be a recall on the headlight assembly and it should be fixed. You can’t replace just the running light or blinker, you have to replace the entire headlight assembly.

  2. Exterior lighting, Sep 6, 2026

My drivers side led headlight has only lasted 2 years. One bulb goes out and the whole assembly needs to be replaced. These led lights are supposed to last 5-10 years. I have both headlights with a single light out. Passenger side turn signal and drivers side running day time lights. The headlights mopar makes are not in par with the cost of 1,200 to replace the entire assembly for just one headlight

  3. Exterior lighting, Aug 24, 2026

Water gets in the back racetrack light on the back lift gate.

  4. Exterior lighting, Apr 7, 2026

Front right turn signal went out after three years and I’m told I need to replace the entire light which is $1400 by itself. These led lights are supposed to last a long time.

  5. Exterior lighting, Mar 3, 2026

This is a fairly new SUV and front turn signals are out. This puts me in danger of having to turn and other drivers not aware. It is not a simple bulb fix. All have to be removed. This was confirmed by a couple of independent mechanics. Vehicle has not been inspected by manufacturer. No warning lamps or messages prior to issue.

  6. Exterior lighting, Feb 13, 2026

Drivers DRL failed within 3 yrs. This is LED and supposed to last 10-15 yrs. Extended bumper to bumper warranty won’t cover. It’s nearly 2k to fix. Risk is less visibility during daytime to other drivers. Is this led bulb, electrical, fuse, ballast? No one seems to know. 2 dealerships say have to replace entire headlight system for nearly 2k!!!

  7. Electrical system, Exterior lighting, Fuel/propulsion system, Feb 3, 2026

Fuel pump stopped working prematurely and had to be replaced prior to 57k miles. Satelite/Antenna/Module failure. Headlight DRL have failed prematurely. Taillights burned out due to constant water buildup. Yes vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

  8. Exterior lighting, Jan 25, 2026

Left driver side LED turn signal strip malfunctions

  9. Exterior lighting, Nov 13, 2025

daytime running light feature is out on drivers side seems to be a consistent problem is not covered under max care warranty

  10. Exterior lighting, Oct 28, 2025

Running light inoperable. Dealer says replacement is only repair, not covered under warranty. Found that many other people are having the same problem within 3 years.

I am submitting this complaint regarding recurring safety-related defects on my 2023 Dodge Durango RT. 1.Uconnect Failure: The Uconnect infotainment/communication box has repeatedly failed, causing loss of access to critical vehicle functions. These failures affect visibility of system warnings, navigation, and driver settings, creating distraction and limiting awareness. 2.Driver-Side Daytime Running Light (DRL) Failure: At just 40,000 miles, the driver-side DRL failed. This significantly reduces vehicle visibility to other drivers during the day, creating a safety hazard. What raises my concern further is that I have personally identified at well over 10 other Dodge Durangos in my local area experiencing the same daytime running light issue. This strongly suggests a widespread defect. Both failures directly impact vehicle safety. The Uconnect issue undermines system reliability, while the DRL defect reduces daytime visibility, increasing the risk of accidents. I request that this issue be investigated as a systemic defect requiring corrective action. Dodge owners should not have to repeatedly pay for repairs on essential safety features. Thank you for your time and attention.

My left rear tail light has a water intrusion issue. From calling the dealership they stated their likely solution would be to drill a weep hole in it (HA!). Reading online this is a massive issue, a recall needs to be issued on these vehicles as it is a known defect with safety a cost impacts.
