TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FAT BOY (FLFB). WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WHEN THE CONTACT SWITCHED GEARS TO DOWNSHIFT AND BRAKE. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SHATTERED HIS FEMUR AND INJURED HIS LEFT KNEE. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE CONTACT DOES NOT KNOW IF THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED; HOWEVER, IT WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST.
