Two issues. Please consider ordering a recall for this 2022 year model. 1. Passenger grab rail. The first time I pulled up on the rail to place the motorcycle on the center stand (as instructed in the owners manual), the grab handle broke, separated from the dowl connecting point. Had this occurred while riding with a passenger this could have led to my passenger falling off the bike. It is useless now. The service manager at the Harley-Davidson dealership says they cannot fix it as the bike is out of warranty. It is a defect. 2. The coolant hose from the radiator is routed approximately 1/4 inch from the front exhaust header causing the bike to run extremely hot. The service manager at the Harley-Davidson dealership said they cannot reroute the hose until there is visual damage to the hose or a failure. “This is a safety issue and concern as well as an environmental issue” it will eventually lead to the hose blistering and bursting spilling coolant on the ground. What if I am in heavy city traffic, in the desert with no cell phone service or some place at night with no help, any of these scenarios put me in great danger. At the very least this defect should be added to the 5 year environmental warranty list of items to be corrected by the motor company. Please let me know your decision so that I may get these items corrected at my cost if necessary. Thank you.
