Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2009-2014 Acura TSX, 2011-2014 TSX Sport Wagon, 2010-2013 ZDX, 2008-2012 Honda Accord, 2010-2011 Accord Crosstour, 2006-2011 Civic and Civic Hybrid, 2008-2010 Civic GX NGV, 2012-2015 Crosstour, 2007-2011 CR-V, 2009-2013 Fit, 2014 Fit EV, 2010-2014 Insight, and 2009-2015 Pilot vehicles. The vehicles are equipped with passenger frontal air bag inflators assembled as a recall remedy part or replacement service part, that may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to high absolute humidity, temperature and temperature cycling.
An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began August 12, 2019. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are F5F and Q5E.

The front passenger air bag inflator may have been installed incorrectly during replacement.
An incorrectly installed air bag inflator may not properly deploy the passenger frontal air bag in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the inflator installation and, if necessary, replace the passenger frontal air bag module assembly, free of charge. The recall began July 5, 2019. One dealership may have incorrectly installed the replacement air bag inflators.
In the event of a crash, an incorrectly installed passenger frontal air bag inflator may deploy the air bag improperly, increasing the risk of injury.

HONDA IS RECALLING 128 MY 2008-2009 CIVIC SEDANS. A BRACKET THAT COVERS THE FUEL HOSE CONNECTOR IS SECURED WITH A BOLT AND NUT, BUT DURING ASSEMBLY THE NUT WAS NOT INSTALLED.
IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THE BRACKET MAY BECOME LOOSE WHICH COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE FUEL HOSE CONNECTOR. A DAMAGED CONNECTOR COULD LEAD TO A FUEL LEAK AND INCREASES THE RISK OF A FIRE.
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NUT ON THE FUEL FEED HOSE BRACKET. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 13, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009.

The paint is peeling off from the vehicle, exposing the body to rust and reduce the vehicle lifetime and durability significantly. When I contacted Honda about the issue, they told me it is a Paint defect from the manufacturing plant. They asked me to get a quote from the dealer to fix the issue, after getting the quote they denied the request saying it is outside the warranty period even when they agreed it is an issue occurred at the plant level. Please look into this and issue a recall.

While driving on the freeway the sun visor, from Ezzy (top selling sun visor replacement brand on Amazon) fell out of its holder onto my hands on the steering wheel and then onto my lap which caused me to swerve slightly. Another incident involving the passenger side sun visor happened when my passenger flipped down the visor and the plastic exploded everywhere and the visor split in two.

Body: Windshield panel flew away ,failure or detachment body and frame components flew away all body pain pilled away with no reason, and other structural components like inside of car sieling cover pilling off like that may present a safety hazard. Steering: devices and systems used to control vehicle direction to the driver's intent such steering rack/box leaking, hydraulic power steering pumps problem like alot noise and hoses leaking that may present a safety hazard.

MY PAINT HAS BEEN FADING FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. EVERY TIME I BRING MY CAR TO HONDA THEY TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE. MY CAR IS STILL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, BUT THE FADED PAINT ALL OVER THE BODY OF THE CAR IS A COMPLETE EYE SORE. THE PAINT ON THE ROOF AND THE HOOD OF MY HONDA CIVIC STARTED PEELING OFF LAST WINTER AND IT'S GOTTEN REALLY BAD. I RANDOMLY FOUND OUT ABOUT A PAINT RECALL THAT HONDA HAD A FEW YEARS AGO AND CONTACTED HONDA ABOUT IT. CUSTOMER SERVICE TOLD ME THAT THEY CANNOT ASSIST ME BECAUSE THE RECALL IS CLOSED AS OF 2014 AND THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH THE PAINT. I NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL REGARDING THE PROBLEM WITH HONDA'S FAULTY PAINT AT MY OLD OR NEW MAILING ADDRESS.

AROUND EARLY 2013 I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE CLEAR COAT CRACKING AND CLOUDING UP ON SEVERAL AREAS OF THE CAR'S BODY. I ALMOST ALWAYS TAKE THE CAR TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE, AND I ASKED THEM ABOUT THIS A FEW DIFFERENT TIMES. THEY SAID I MIGHT BE WASHING THE CAR TOO MUCH AND THAT I SHOULD TRY NOT TO PARK IT IN THE SUN SO MUCH. THIS PROBLEM GOT WORSE AND WORSE OVER THE NEXT 24 MONTHS AND RIGHT NOW THE CAR LOOKS LIKE IT'S 25 YEARS OLD DUE TO HOW BAD THE PAINT LOOKS. I RECENTLY FOUND OUT THROUGH INTERNET RESEARCH THAT HONDA ISSUED A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN (CAMPAIGN # 14-034, ENTITLED: PAINT CHALKING, CRACKING, CLOUDING WARRANTY EXTENSION) THAT EXTENDED THE WARRANTY FOR THE PAINT. BUT I NEVER GOT ANYTHING IN THE MAIL FROM HONDA, AND THE DEALERSHIP PEOPLE HAD JUST KEPT SAYING THE PAINT PROBLEM WAS MY FAULT. WHEN I ASKED THE DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR THE PAINT, THEY SAID THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED AND THAT IT WAS TOO BAD FOR ME, SO SORRY.

THE BRACKET THE HOLDS THE ALTERNATOR AND IS CONNECTED TO THE ENGINE BLOCK SNAPPED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET. I LOST POWER STEERING AND THE BELT CAME OFF. THE ALTERNATOR WAS JUST DANGLING. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND, THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL VEHICLE AND IT SEEMS TO BE A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW.
