Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Alpine, Avalanche, 2020-2023 Fuzion and Impact travel trailers. The hydraulic leveling leg foot pads may become loose and separate from the vehicle.
A foot pad that separates during transit can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will inspect the mounting bolt and reinstall with thread locking adhesive, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 10, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-437.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022 Alpine, Impact, Arcadia, Avalanche, Fuzion, and Passport travel trailers, equipped with a 50-amp shore power inlet. The power inlet lug bolts may have been manufactured with excessively hard metal, preventing them from being tightened properly and resulting in a loose wiring connection.
Loose wiring can cause an electrical arc or short, increasing the risk of fire.
Dealers will inspect and replace the power inlet, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-428.

Additionally, the contact stated that the driver's side and the top large windows were shattered in the living room. The back wall had separated from the kitchen counter back wall. The solar panels failed to charge. There was water pouring from the belly of the unit. There was vibration while pulling RV. I purchased a 2022 Keystone Alpine 3720MD fifth wheel RV from Bish's RV in Anderson, Indiana (Modern Trailer Sales at the time) in February of 2023. Starting in early 2024, I noticed a crack starting to form in the fiberglass exterior wall on the driver's side of the RV originating from the lower left-hand corner of the opening for the master bed slide. Over the past 7 months, that crack has continued to grow in length as well as get wider over time. I am very concerned about the structural integrity of the underlying frame of the RV as I have read about many other owners of Keystone Alpines experiencing "frame flex" problems with their 2022 RV's. I have submitted pictures of the problem to Bish's RV and took it to them for an inspection on [XXX]. After the inspection, they acknowledged it was a frame flex issue and said they would be submitting it to Keystone for warranty coverage. However, I have not been able to speak with Bish's RV since then, even though I have called repeatedly. They do not answer their phones in the service department and do not return messages. I would like to get this problem resolved before the problem gets worse or results in some type of catastrophic failure while driving it on the road resulting in an injury to us or another driver. After buying this trailer brand new, we took it on our first out of state trip. We drove from Minnesota to South Carolina roughly 1000 miles. In the location of the front kitchen slide out there is now a crack forming diagonally from the lower corner of the outside of the slide out. After doing research we learned this is what shows on the outside of the fiberglass when aluminum frame welds are breaking. We contacted Keystone, they started a warranty claim and gave us contacts to call. So far the only location Keystone gave us in Minnesota told us they no longer will do the repair because Keystone does not reimburse them fully for the repair. In hopes to get them to help I offered to pay the difference, waiting to hear back. Other places are now a year out in scheduling for the repair. Keystone also informed me they will not be doing any reimbursement for any inconveniences this is causing.

Stress Crack under Kitchen slideout. Dealer told me this is common. I disagree

5th wheel is experiencing what is defined as frame flex. My rig has not been fixed yet so i can not describe where tthe cracks are at this time. Keystone has said they will cover repairs. I feel this item should be looked at further, it is a know issue that is being covered up. Once I found a dealer to complete the repairs I stated I was nervous about traveling 6 hours to them. What they described to me about the condition of other rigs that have been brought in was scary. This defect can cause death if the rig was to completely fail on the road. If these were commercial vehicles they would never pass the yearly inspection. Please consider looking into this and making the manufacturer accountable for all.
