Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling various Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V824-0103.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf
If the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire.

Power train, automatic transmission, lever and linkage, column shiftDec 20, 2017
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of less than 10,000 lbs, 2011-2017 Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles, 2009-2017 Ram 1500 and 2010-2017 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks, all equipped with a column shifter. Pushing the brake pedal for prolonged periods when the vehicle is running and in PARK may cause the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) pin to stick in the open position. With the pin in the open position, the transmission can be shifted out of PARK into any gear without pushing the brake pedal or having the key in the ignition.
Being able to shift the transmission without pushing the brake pedal and/or without a key in the ignition can increase the risk of an unintended vehicle rollaway that may result in personal injury or a crash.
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle software, inspect the BTSI, and, as necessary, replace it, free of charge. The recall began February 26, 2018. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T79.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2014-2016 Ram 3500 vehicles. Certain driving conditions, such as driving off-road or debris striking the vehicle may cause the roll rate sensor to trigger a fault within the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC). If this fault occurs, the rollover side curtain air bag and the seat belt pretensioner will be disabled from deploying.
If the rollover side curtain air bags and seat belt pretensioners are disabled, there is an increased risk of injury to the vehicle occupants in the event of a crash that necessitates activation of these safety systems.
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will update the ORC software, free of charge. The recall began June 26, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T25.

The affected vehicles are equipped with radios that have software vulnerabilities that can allow third-party access to certain networked vehicle control systems.
Exploitation of the software vulnerability may result in unauthorized remote modification and control of certain vehicle systems, increasing the risk of a crash.
Chrysler will notify and mail affected owners a USB drive that includes a software update that eliminates the vulnerability, free of charge. Optionally, owners may download the update to their own USB drive from http://www.driveuconnect.com/software-update/ or take their vehicle to a Chrysler dealer for immediate installation. In an effort to mitigate the effects of this security vulnerability, Chrysler has had the wireless service provider close the open cellular connection to the vehicle that provided unauthorized access to the vehicle network. This measure may not have been implemented on all vehicles and does not address access by other means that will be remedied by the software update. The recall began on August 25, 2015. 2015 RAM 1500 LARAMIE LIMITED 4X4 COMPONENT PART OR SYSTEM THAT CAUSED THE SAFETY RISK - UNKNOWN MY TRUCK WAS PURCHASED NEW WITH 115 MILES ON THE ODOMETER ON 10/13/2015 AT HEBERT'S TOWN & COUNTRY. ON 10/16/2015, WITH JUST OVER 200 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, MY WIFE AND I WERE RETURNING HOME FROM DATE-NIGHT. WE WERE TRAVELING AT 60 MPH DOWN LA3132 WHEN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT BLACK, THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN, MOST ALL ELECTRONICS, TO INCLUDE THE HEADLIGHTS, CEASED FUNCTIONING AND THE RPM & MPH GAUGES CONSTANTLY BOUNCED UP AND DOWN. I WAS ABLE TO COAST SAFELY TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD AS THE TRAFFIC WAS LIGHT. I COULD NOT RESTART THE VEHICLE SO, IT HAD TO BE TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. FIVE DAYS LATER, I TOOK RE-DELIVERY OF MY TRUCK WITH AN ADDITIONAL 200 MILES ADDED TO THE ODOMETER AND A VERBAL EXPLANATION (NO PAPERWORK) THAT THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER HAD TO BE REPLACED. UPON RE-DELIVERY WITH MY SALESMAN PRESENT, I ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE AND THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER BLACKED OUT AND THE GAUGES BOUNCED. MY SALESMAN WENT TO GET A SERVICE TECH BUT, WHILE HE WAS GONE, I HEARD A CLICK IN THE DASH AND EVERYTHING STARTED WORKING AGAIN. ON 12/11/2015, WITH JUST UNDER 60 DAYS OWNERSHIP AND RIGHT AT 700 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, I WAS RETURNING HOME FROM SHOPPING, TRAVELING DOWN A RESIDENTIAL STREET, WHEN THE EXACT SAME PROBLEMS SUDDENLY HAPPENED AGAIN. THIS TIME, I WAS TRAVELING AT 30 MPH AND APPROACHING AN S-CURVE WITH NO HEADLIGHTS AND NO STREET LIGHTS. I LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AS THE BRAKES WERE VERY HARD TO APPLY AND I ALMOST HAD AN ACCIDENT BEFORE FINALLY GETTING IT STOPPED. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN BECAUSE I COULD NOT RESTART IT AND THE GAUGES WERE BOUNCING. MY TRUCK IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALERSHIP. I'M NOT SURE I WANT TO TAKE RE-DELIVERY OF THIS PARTICULAR TRUCK.

I POURED THE 6 QUARTS OF NEW OIL IN THE ENGINE, WARMED IT UP AND SHUT IT DOWN. I THEN CHECKED THE FILTER FOR LEAKS AND CHECKED MY OIL LEVEL. EVERYBODY SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHANGE THEIR OWN OIL RIGHT? WELL I GUESS THAT'S NOT TRUE WITH THIS TRUCK ACCORDING TO THE DEALER SERVICE CENTER. IT WAS ABOUT 3000 MILES LATER WHEN I WAS AT WORK AND NOTICED A PUDDLE OF OIL UNDER THE TRUCK. I LOOKED UNDERNEATH AND THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSMISSION AND OTHER PARTS WERE COATED WITH OIL. I CHECKED THE LEVEL AND NOTHING REGISTERED ON THE DIP STICK SO I HAD MY NEW TRUCK TOWED TO THE DEALER. THEY TOLD ME THAT I DIDN'T USE OEM PARTS AND I'M NOT QUALIFIED TO CHANGE MY OWN OIL AND THAT IS WHY OIL WAS GUSHING ALL OVER THE TOP OF MY ENGINE! NOTICE THAT DRIVING A VEHICLE WITH AN ENGINE COATED WITH OIL IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. THE DEALER CHARGED ME FOR A NEW OIL CHANGE, WIPED THE OIL OFF WHERE THEY COULD AND REFUSED TO HAVE THE ENGINE STEAM CLEANED. THEY SENT ME ON THE STREET WITH OIL ON MY ENGINE! I TRIED TO HAVE IT CLEANED BUT COULD NOT FIND ANYBODY THAT COULD DO IT THAT DAY. I HAD TO DRIVE IT THE NEXT DAY AND IT DIDN'T CATCH FIRE SO I LET IT GO. I AM NOW AT 23,578 MILES (INCIDENT HAPPENED AT 16,893) AND I'M STARTING TO NOTICE IT LEAKING A LITTLE BIT AGAIN. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE! I'VE SEEN MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS AND SOMEBODY COULD GET KILLED! NOW I'M GOING TO GO COMPLAIN ABOUT ALL THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200 IS HAVING. DON'T BUY AN FCA PRODUCT! YOU WILL BE SORRY! *TR

THIS TRUCK HAS AN EXHAUST SMELL IN THE CABIN THAT MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN NOTICING GETS MORE PREVALENT AS THE VEHICLE GETS MORE MILES. I DROVE THE TRUCK ABOUT 8 HRS THURSDAY NIGHT MARCH 27TH AND INTO THE MORNING OF FRIDAY MARCH 28TH . BY THE TIME I GOT TO MY DESTINATION I HAD AN EXTREME HEADACHE, NAUSEA, BURNING EYES NOSE AND THROAT. IT WAS 0230 AM, I TRIED TO REST AND SLEEP BUT WAS TOO ILL. AFTER APPROXIMATELY 9~10 HRS I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET CHECKED, AND DOCUMENT WHAT I BELIEVE TO HAVE BEEN EXPOSURE TO EXHAUST FUMES. THE DR PUT ME ON OXYGEN AND GAVE ME ANTI NAUSEA MEDICINE. THEY DREW A BLOOD GAS AND TOLD ME THAT I HAD ONLY SLIGHT SIGNS OF EXPOSURE UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE TIME THAT I HAD WAITED TO COME IN TO GET CHECKED. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT THIS INCIDENT IS REPORTED AS IT SEEMS TO CREEP UP AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT ! *TR
