Recalls and investigations

  1. Air bags, side/window, curtain, inflatorJul 1, 2021

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. The roof-rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator, or the inflator sidewall may rupture.

A separated inflator end cap or inflator rupture can allow compressed gas to escape, resulting in the end cap or other components being propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

Dealers will replace the left and right side RRAB modules, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on August 18, 2021. Owners will receive a second notice when the remedy is available. Phase I owner notification letters were mailed on May 5, 2022. Phase II owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 31, 2022. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. This recall supersedes NHTSA recall number 20V-736. GM's number for this recall is N202324251.

  2. Seat belts, frontApr 8, 2021

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2014-2015 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles that may have received an incorrect replacement tensioner cable assembly as part of a previous recall remedy or a subsequent repair. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.

A broken pretensioner cable reduces the effectiveness of the driver's seat belt, increasing the risk of injury.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver seat belt lap pretensioner, free of charge. The recall began on May 5, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N212330040.

  3. Air bags, side/window, curtain, inflatorNov 25, 2020

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 trucks. The roof-rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator.

If the end cap separates from the inflator, the compressed gas will escape and the end cap can be propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the RRAB modules on the left and/or right side, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on December 22, 2020. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. Note: GM filed a new recall, number 21V-504 that supersedes this recall. All vehicles previously recalled under 20V-736 will now be repaired under the new recall number 21V-504. GM's numbers for this recall are N202309680, N202309681, and N202309682.

  4. Service brakes, hydraulic, antilock/traction control/electronic limited slip, wheel speed sensor/tone ringOct 24, 2019

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon, and 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with a 5.3-liter engine, a 3.08-ratio rear axle and four-wheel drive. If a wheel-speed sensor fails, while the vehicle is traveling between 41 and 60 mph in four-wheel or automatic mode, the Electronic-Brake Control Module (EBCM) software may activate the driveline-protection system.

Unintended activation of the driveline-protection system will cause unintended braking on the wheel on the opposite side of the failed sensor, causing the vehicle to pull to one side unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the EBCM, free of charge. The recall began December 11, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192261050.

  5. Service brakes, hydraulic, power assist, vacuumSep 6, 2019

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Cadillac Escalade, 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2015-2018 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon vehicles. The amount of vacuum created by the vacuum pump may decrease over time.

As the vacuum level drops, the brake assist decreases, increasing braking effort, extending the distance required to stop the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the Electronic Brake Control Module, free of charge. The recall began October 8, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192268490.

  6. Steering, electric power assist systemSep 7, 2018

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade vehicles. Electric power steering (EPS) assist may be lost momentarily, followed by a sudden return of EPS assist.

If EPS assist is lost and then suddenly returns, the driver may have difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the EPS module software, free of charge. The recall began October 12, 2018. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18289.

  7. Service brakes, hydraulic, pedals and linkagesAug 30, 2018

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, 1500 Crew Cab Special Service, Tahoe Police Pursuit/Special Service, GMC Sierra 2500, and 3500 vehicles. The brake pedal pivot nut may loosen, causing the brake pedal to be loose or inoperative.

If the brake pedal becomes loose or inoperative, the driver may be unable to stop the vehicle by using the brake pedal. Additionally, a loose pedal may also interfere with the accelerator pedal. Either condition may increase the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will add adhesive to the nut and reinstall the nut with increased tightness, free of charge. The recall began October 3, 2018. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18278. Note: The vehicles in this recall need this additional remedy despite being covered by recall 16V069 for brake pedal loosening.

  8. Seat belts, frontMay 3, 2018

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Tahoe Police Pursuit and Special-Service vehicles. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.

If the pretensioner cable becomes fatigued or breaks, the driver may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing their risk of injury.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the pretensioner cable and seat side-shield, free of charge. The recall began June 19, 2018. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 18156.

  9. Air bags, frontalJul 10, 2017

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Buick Lacrosse and Chevrolet Spark EV, Caprice PPV and SS vehicles, 2014-2017 Buick Encore and Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, 2015-2016 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Tahoe, Trax, Suburban and Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles, and 2015-2017 GMC Sierra HD 2500 and 3500 vehicles. While being previously remedied for recall 16V-651, the affected vehicles may not have received the complete software update necessary to remedy the recall condition. Without the update, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test. During this test, deployment of the frontal air bags and the seat belt pretensioners would not occur in the event of a crash.

A failure of the front air bags or seat belt pretensioners to deploy in the event of a crash necessitating deployment increases the risk of injury to the driver and front passenger.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the SDM software. Vehicles that have had a previous air bag deployment will have the SDM replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2017. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE I'VE NOTICED A RUFF RIDE . IT FEELS LIKE IT'S COMING FROM REAR END . I HIT A SLIGHT BUMP ON ROAD WHILE DRIVING AND IT BOUNCES AND VIBRATES ROUGHLY. TOOK IT BACK TO DEALERSHIP A MONTH OR SO AFTER BUYING IT AND WAS TOLD MY TIRES WHERE NOT BALANCED , SO THEY BALANCED THEM AND STILL CAME OUT THE SAME . DECIDED TO GET A SECOND OPINION MONTHS LATER AND WAS TOLD IT HAD WEAK SHOCKS IN FRONT SO THEY CHANGED THOSE OUT . STILL NOTHING HAD CHANGED . SO RETURNED IT TO THE SAME DEALERSHIP A WEEK LATER AND THEY THEN DID THE REAR SHOCKS MENTIONING THEY WERE IN WEAK CONDITION. STILL NO CHANGE . AT THAT TIME MY VEHICLE WAS UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY SO I GUESS THEY TROUBLESHOOT THE CHEAPEST WAY JUST TO GET THE CUSTOMER OUT OF THEIR AND SAVE MONEY ON THEIR END . NOW THAT MY WARRANTY IS JUST OVER I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY ARE GIVING ME OPTIONS I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN MY WARRANTY WAS IN EFFECT.

AIR CONDITIONING NOT WORKING. BLOWING HOT DUE TO WORN HOLE IN HOSE (THOUSANDS OF KNOWN ISSUES ALL WITH EXACTLY THE SAME SYMPTOMS AND FIXES... E X A C T L Y!!!!!!) CALLED CHEV, THE GUY SAID NHTSA TELLS THEM WHAT TO PAY FOR AND WHAT TO RECALL SO THEY'RE HANDS ARE CLEAN OF THIS ISSUE. PARDON????? WORN HOLE? CHECK BAD CONDENSER? CHECK NO BRACKET? CHECK DEALERSHIP/MANUFACTURER PARTICIPATION? NO WAY IN HELL! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUSINESS AND THERE'S NO WAY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND ANYONE ELSE I CAN CALL ARE NOT GOING TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. OH YEAH, THE A/C NEVER GETS USED, OTHERWISE I WOULD'VE HAD IT FIXED 20K MILES AGO UNDER WARRANTY BUT I DIDN'T KNOW IT WASN'T WORKING. THERE'S RESIDUE ON THE HOSES FROM THE LEAK WHICH THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD'VE CAUGHT BUT THEY DIDN'T. MAYBE I GO THAT ROUTE?

MY 2015 SILVERADO HAS APPROX 80K MILES AND THE AC BLOWS HOT. THE DEALERSHIP FOUND THE AC CONDENSER CRACKED. I UNDERSTAND FROM READING MANY GM FORUMS THAT THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE HAPPENING SINCE 2014. GM HAS KNOWN ABOUT THE FAULTY DESIGN AND STILL HAS YET TO ISSUE A RECALL OR TSB. I HAVE BEEN QUOTED A PRICE OF 1200 DOLLARS TO FIX A KNOWN ISSUE.

MY 2015 SILVERADO BEGAN BLOWING HOT AIR WITH A/C ON. HAVE HAD REFRIGERANT ADDED SEVERAL TIMES AND IT LEAKS OUT IN 3-4 DAYS. ANOTHER SERVICE LOCATION IDENTIFIED THE PROBLEM AS A BAD A/C CONDENSER. LOOKED ONLINE AND DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE MANY MORE PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS EXACT PROBLEM. SOME ARE SAYING THAT THERE IS A RECALL BUT MY DEALER SAYS THEY ARE UNAWARE OF ANY PROBLEMS OR RECALLS. THIS IS BEING REPORTED AS 'WIDESPREAD FAILURE' SO VAST THAT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO NATIONAL BACKORDERS.

  14. Power train, Wheels, Other or unspecified, Jul 26, 2018

TRUCK SHAKES SEVERELY WHEN DRIVING AT SPEEDS ABOVE 70 MPH ON MANY DIFFERENT ROAD TYPES. THIS PROBLEM STARTED NOT TOO LONG AFTER I GOT MY TRUCK NEW. AFTER COMPLAINING ABOUT IT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID THIS IS "STANDARD 22 INCH WHEEL VIBRATION." AFTER I HAD ABOUT 35000 MILES ON IT THE VIBRATION GOT SO BAD I COULDN'T STAND TO DRIVE ON THE FREEWAY. TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE TIRES WERE WORE OUT EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS STILL PLENTY OF TREAD. HAD ANOTHER SHOP LOOK AT IT AND THEY FOUND ONE OF THE WHEELS WAS EVER SO SLIGHTLY BENT. TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER TO CONFIRM. THEY SOLD ME A NEW WHEEL, THE PROBLEM DIDN'T GO AWAY OR CHANGE IN ANY WAY. I BOUGHT NEW TIRES AS THEY RECOMMENDED, PROBLEM WAS STILL THERE BUT NOT SO SEVERE UNTIL AFTER DRIVING A FEW THOUSAND MILES. THE MORE MILES I PUT ON THE TIRES THE WORSE THE VIBRATION GETS. TOOK IT BACK INTO THE DEALER AGAIN RECENTLY, THEY KEEP TELLING ME IT'S STANDARD VIBRATION FOR 22 INCH WHEELS. I KNOW THIS IS BOGUS BECAUSE I KNOW A FEW PEOPLE WITH THE EXACT SAME WHEELS AND TIRES THAT DON'T HAVE THE SHAKING PROBLEM, THEY CAN DRIVE AS FAST AS THEY WANT AND IT'S SMOOTH. EVERYBODY THAT RIDES WITH ME ASKS WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TRUCK. HOW CAN I CONVINCE THE DEALER THAT THERE IS AN ACTUAL PROBLEM?

  15. Other or unspecified, Jul 18, 2018

AT 46000 MILES THE AC UNIT COMPRESSOR WENT BAD. I RESEARCHED THIS AND FOUND IT TO BE A MAJOR ISSUE WITH THESE GM VEHICLES. I PERSONALLY KNOW 4 TRUCKS THAT HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE TO WONDER WHY GM HAS NOT RECALLED THIS VEHICLE KNOWING THEY HAVE AN ISSUE.

  16. Other or unspecified, Jul 4, 2018

ALL SOUND STOPPED ON MY TRUCK. RADIO, TURN SIGNAL FEEDBACK, ETC. IT WAS WORKING AT END OF DAY BUT DID NOT WORK THE FOLLOWING MORNING. I SEARCHED AND FOUND RECALL #14315 BUT YOUR WEB SITE SAYS THERE ARE NO RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE. IT HAS EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS AS DESCRIBED BY THAT RECALL. I GOOGLED SYMPTOM AND FOUND WHERE SOMEONE HAD DISCONNECTED BATTERY FOR AWHILE AND THAT FIXED IT. DID FOR ME TOO BUT FEEL THE FIX IN RECALL 14315 SHOULD BE APPLIED TO MY TRUCK AS WELL.

  17. Other or unspecified, Jun 26, 2018

FAULTY TAILGATE BUSHING (GM PART NO. 84331136/84131760), PLASTIC, ENGINEERING DEFECT. THE PART CRACKS, BREAKS, DISINTEGRATES, SIMPLY BY OPENING OR CLOSING THE TRUCK TAILGATE OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THE BUSING WAS DESIGNED TO ASSIST THE TAILGATE BY REDUCING THE WEIGHT OR MUSCLE NEEDED TO REST THE TAILGATE WITHOUT SLAMMING. WHEN THE BUSING CRACKS OR BREAKS THEN THE TAILGATE SLAMS DOWN. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE THE OWNER BECOMES ACCUSTOMED TO THE TAILGATE LOWERING WITH EASE, AND UPON THE FIRST TIME OPENING TAILGATE AFTER THE BUSHING HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, IT SLAMS DOWN, RISKING INJURY TO YOUR ARMS, POSSIBLY YOUR BACK OR ANYONE LIKE CHILDREN, A CHILD'S HEAD UNDERNEATH OR BELOW THE OWNERS WAIST. SECONDLY, GM IS "PRICE GAUGING" THEIR CUSTOMERS. THE PART COST LESS THAN $10 DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, AND THE CHEAPLY MANUFACTURED PART, WHICH IS MOST LIKELY SPUN ON A 3-D PRINTER BY A CANADIAN COMPANY COSTS $44 NOW. THEY DO NOT OFFER A OEM PART AND HAVE NOT CHANGED THE PLASTIC PART TO ADAPT TO ALL OF THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. THIS IS THE FOURTH BUSHING I HAVE TO REPLACE. ONLINE RESEARCH OF OTHER TRUCK OWNERS WITH THE SAME VEHICLE INDICATE THIS IS A WIDE SPREAD PUBLIC PROBLEM. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH GM. THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP ME REPLACE THE PART AT NO COST. PLEASE HELP THE CONSUMER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

  18. Other or unspecified, Jun 25, 2018

REAR DRIVERS SIDE DOOR SAYS IT'S NOT LATCHED BUT IT IS. THEREFORE THE DOORS DO NOT LOCK AUTOMATICALLY AND THE DOME LIGHTS DO NOT TURN OFF AUTOMATICALLY. THIS COULD CAUSE SOME SERIOUS ISSUES AS I DON'T KNOW IF THE DOOR IS PROPERLY LATCHED SINCE IT SAYS THIS ALL THE TIME. MY CHILDREN RIDE IN THE VEHICLE AND THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN.

  19. Other or unspecified, Jun 18, 2018

I JOIN A LONG LIST OF CHEVROLET TRUCK OWNERS EXPERIENCING AC FAILURE FAR TOO SOON IN THE VEHICLE'S LIFE. MY 2015 SILVERADO 1500 4X4 Z71 WITH 42,000 MILES HAD THE AC COMPLETELY STOP WORKING OVER THE WEEKEND UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE TEMPERATURE WAS 82F. UPON INSPECTION AT THE DEALERSHIP, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CONDENSER HAD A LEAK ON THE TOP RIGHT SIDE AND THAT IT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE WARRANTY CLAIM, THE SERVICE MANAGER EXPLAINED THAT HE HAS SUBMITTED THE CLAIM AND THAT HE, " ... HAD VERY LITTLE DOUBT THAT IT WOULD BE APPROVED." " WE SEE THIS A LOT," HE EXPLAINED. THIS IS A WIDELY KNOWN ISSUE AND SEVERAL OWNERS ARE PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR FAULTY EQUIPMENT THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN INSTALLED ON SUCH AN EXPENSIVE VEHICLE. GM'S "MOST DEPENDABLE TRUCK" SLOGAN IS WORTHY OF DEBATE.

  20. Other or unspecified, May 29, 2018

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING ONLY BLOWS HOT AIR. CALLED DEALER ABOUT THE PROBLEM AFTER I LEARNED THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM. CHEVY WILL NOT COVER THIS PROBLEM UNDER WARRANTY. WHEN I TOLD THEM THIS WAS AN ONGOING PROBLEM STARTING WITH 2014 MODELS I WAS TOLD THEY NEVER HEARD OF THIS. I WAS ALL SO TOLD THAT BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ALL MY SERVICE WORK DONE WITH THEM THEY REALLY DON'T FEEL THEY NEED TO CUT ME A BRAKE I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR REPAIR. AIR CONDITIONING ON MY 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO IS ONLY BLOWING WARM AIR.

  22. Other or unspecified, May 21, 2018

AFTER OWNING MY TRUCK FOR JUST OVER 2 YEARS AND 30K MILES, THE AC STOPPED BLOWING COLD AIR. WHEN PURCHASED NEW AND FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS DRIVING IT, THE AC WORKED PERFECTLY, THIS HAPPENED FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT. AFTER SEARCHING ONLINE FOR A RESOLUTION, I CAME ACROSS MULTIPLE OTHER CHEVROLET OWNERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THE CULPRIT CAME TO BE KNOWN AS THE AC CONDENSER. IT IS KNOWN THAT THE CONDENSERS USED BY GM FOR THIS MODEL TRUCK HAVE WEAK WELDS AND THIS IS WHERE THE CONDENSER FAILS PRODUCING A SMALL LEAK. AS IT TURNS OUT, GM IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE WITH THE AC CONDENSERS ON THESE VEHICLES AND REFUSES TO COVER THEM UNDER WARRANTY AND WANTS TO CHARGE UPWARDS OF $1K DOLLARS TO REPLACE. I AM COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS CONSIDERING MY TRUCK IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD WITH UNDER 35K MILES ON IT. THIS IS TOO NEW OF A VEHICLE FOR THE AC TO BE HAVING PROBLEMS THAT ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

  23. Other or unspecified, May 8, 2018

I'M ADDING TO THE GROWING LIST OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE AC ISSUES WITH GM/CHEVY FULL-SIZED VEHICLES FROM 2014-2015. AS OF 5/3/2018, I HAD NOTICED MY AC ONLY BLOWING HOT AIR. TRIED AGAIN THE FOLLOWING DAY, SAME THING. ONLY BEING 2 YEARS OLD, I FOUND IT INCREDIBLY ODD THAT THE FREON WOULD BE GONE ALREADY. UPON DOING MY RESEARCH ABOUT THE PROBLEM, I DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS A TREMENDOUSLY EGREGIOUS KNOWN ISSUE WITH GMC/CHEVY OWNERS AND A RECALL REGARDING THE PROBLEM HAS STILL NOT BEEN ISSUED TO CORRECT IT. GIVEN THE FACT MY VEHICLE HAS JUST FALLEN OUT WARRANTY AS WELL, IT'S INCREDIBLY INFURIATING THAT I'M NOW FORCED TO HAVE THESE REPAIRS COME OUT OF POCKET AND WAIT NEARLY A MONTH FOR THE PARTS TO COME IN. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY BY GMC/CHEVY BEFORE THE HOTTEST DAYS OF SUMMER ARRIVE.

  24. Vehicle speed control, Other or unspecified, Engine, Feb 19, 2018

TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. WHEN REVERSING UP A DRIVEWAY THE TRUCK WILL STALL AS THE GAS IS PRESSED IT WILL REV UP BUT NOT GO ANYWHERE, THEN JUMP INTO REVERSE AS IF THE PETAL WAS FLOORED. ALSO SOME TIMES WHEN ENTERING THE HIGHWAY THE TRANSMISSION DOESN'T SHIFT INTO THE CORRECT GEARS ALSO JUMPING INTO GEAR WHICH COULD CAUSE ACCIDENTS.

  25. Other or unspecified, Feb 11, 2018

THE AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT BLOW COLD. 2015 SILVERADO WITH 55K. DO NOT HEAR THE AC COMPRESSOR KICK IN WHEN AC BUTTON PUSHED. HISSING NOISE OVERHEARD WHEN IT DOES DECIDE TO WORK. INTERNET QUERIES LEAD ME TO BELIEVE THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH 2014, 2015 SILVERADO MODELS AND GM DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE.
