    General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2013 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, and Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Silverado 2500/3500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Sierra 2500/3500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles originally sold, or ever registered, in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), and the U.S. Virgin Islands or "Zone A." Additionally, GM is recalling certain 2010 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, and Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Silverado 2500/3500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Sierra 2500/3500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles originally sold, or ever registered in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia or "Zone B."     An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.

    GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator with an alternate one, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on February 24, 2021. Second notification letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 11, 2021.     General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2009-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD, 2009 GMC Topkick 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 Series and Isuzu F Series, and 2009-2018 Chevrolet Express, and GMC Savana vehicles, equipped with certain Plastic-Handle Fire Extinguishers or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.     In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

    GM will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde to get a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began June 11, 2018.     VERTICAL PLASTIC COVER NEXT TO ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THERE IS A VERTICAL PLASTIC COVER OF SOME TYPE, ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THAT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SOLE OF MY DRESS SHOES GETS CAUGHT ON, DELAYING MY FOOT FROM REACHING AND APPLYING THE BRAKE PEDAL. THESE VALUABLE MILLISECONDS IS GOING CAUSE SOMEONE OUT THERE TO GET KILLED OR SERIOUSLY MAIMED. *TR

    I RECENTLY PURCHASED A GMC SIERRA CREW CAB PICKUP . WHEN IT RAINS, THE RIGHT FRONT HEADLIGHT FOGS UP CREATING A HAZARD AS ON COMING TRAFFIC CANNOT SEE MY TURN SIGNAL. THE LEFT LIGHT DOES NOT FOG UP. NOW, THE LAW OF PHYSICS TELLS ME THERE IS A LEAK IN THE HEADLIGHT AND NATURALLY THE MOISTURE WILL CONDENSE ON THE COOLEST PART OF THE LIGHT WHICH IS THE GLASS . I HAVE WRITTEN GMC WITH THE COMPLAINT AND THEY WILL NOT ANSWER MY COMPLAINT. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. MY NAME IS GAINES SMITH. TRUCK WAS PURCHASED AT HAFNER MOTORS, BATESVILLE MISS. *TR

    2009 GMC SIERRA HAD A INCORRECT MARKED WIRE FOR THE TRAILER POWER. *NJ THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN CONNECTING THE TRAILER POWER, HE CONNECTED THE WIRE AT THE FUSE PANEL MARKED TRAILER POWER FEED. WHEN THERE WAS NO POWER AT THE TRAILER CONNECTION HE CONTACTED THE DEALER. THEY DETERMINED THAT THE WIRE MARKED TRAILER POWER FEED WAS NOT THE TRAILER POWER FEED WIRE. THEY DISCONNECTED THE WIRE AND CONNECTED A DIFFERENT WIRE WHICH DID IN FACT SUPPLY POWER TO THE TRAILER CONNECTION. *JB

    TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 GMC SIERRA 1500. DURING AN ICE STORM, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE WAS FOUR INCHES AWAY AND DOES NOT TOUCH THE WINDSHIELD. AS A RESULT, THE WIPER CANNOT REMOVE ICE OR SNOW FROM THE WINDSHIELD. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT DEFROSTER DOES DEFROST THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. THE DEALER STATED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED IN THAT MANNER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,553. UPDATED 3/11/09 *CN UPDATED 03/16/09. *JB

    OBSTRUCTED VIEW OUT OF WINDSHIELD ON PASSENGER SIDE. THE WIPER ONLY COVERS 2/3RDS OF THE PASSENGER SIDE OF WINDSHIELD. IN SNOW AND ICE STORM CONDITIONS THE PASSENGER SIDE WIPER IS NOT FUNCTIONAL AND BECAUSE A VISIBILITY SAFETY ISSUE. ALSO THE PASSENGER SIDE OF WINDSHIELD DOES NOT DEFROST AND IS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO THE WIPER BLADE NOT CLEARING THE WINDSHIELD. REPORTED TO DEALER WHO REPLACE WIPER BLADES BUT THIS DOES NOT CORRECT THE DEFROSTER ISSUE OR THE WIPER SAFETY VISIBILITY PROBLEM ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DURING A STORM RAIN OR SNOW ETC. *TR
