Recalls and investigations

  1. Air bags, side/window, curtain, inflatorJul 1, 2021

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. The roof-rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator, or the inflator sidewall may rupture.

A separated inflator end cap or inflator rupture can allow compressed gas to escape, resulting in the end cap or other components being propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

Dealers will replace the left and right side RRAB modules, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on August 18, 2021. Owners will receive a second notice when the remedy is available. Phase I owner notification letters were mailed on May 5, 2022. Phase II owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 31, 2022. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. This recall supersedes NHTSA recall number 20V-736. GM's number for this recall is N202324251.

  2. Seat belts, frontApr 8, 2021

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2014-2015 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles that may have received an incorrect replacement tensioner cable assembly as part of a previous recall remedy or a subsequent repair. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.

A broken pretensioner cable reduces the effectiveness of the driver's seat belt, increasing the risk of injury.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver seat belt lap pretensioner, free of charge. The recall began on May 5, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N212330040.

  3. Air bags, side/window, curtain, inflatorNov 25, 2020

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 trucks. The roof-rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator.

If the end cap separates from the inflator, the compressed gas will escape and the end cap can be propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the RRAB modules on the left and/or right side, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on December 22, 2020. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. Note: GM filed a new recall, number 21V-504 that supersedes this recall. All vehicles previously recalled under 20V-736 will now be repaired under the new recall number 21V-504. GM's numbers for this recall are N202309680, N202309681, and N202309682.

  4. Service brakes, hydraulic, antilock/traction control/electronic limited slip, wheel speed sensor/tone ringOct 24, 2019

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon, and 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with a 5.3-liter engine, a 3.08-ratio rear axle and four-wheel drive. If a wheel-speed sensor fails, while the vehicle is traveling between 41 and 60 mph in four-wheel or automatic mode, the Electronic-Brake Control Module (EBCM) software may activate the driveline-protection system.

Unintended activation of the driveline-protection system will cause unintended braking on the wheel on the opposite side of the failed sensor, causing the vehicle to pull to one side unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the EBCM, free of charge. The recall began December 11, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192261050.

  5. Service brakes, hydraulic, power assist, vacuumSep 6, 2019

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Cadillac Escalade, 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2015-2018 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon vehicles. The amount of vacuum created by the vacuum pump may decrease over time.

As the vacuum level drops, the brake assist decreases, increasing braking effort, extending the distance required to stop the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the Electronic Brake Control Module, free of charge. The recall began October 8, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192268490.

  6. Steering, electric power assist systemSep 7, 2018

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade vehicles. Electric power steering (EPS) assist may be lost momentarily, followed by a sudden return of EPS assist.

If EPS assist is lost and then suddenly returns, the driver may have difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the EPS module software, free of charge. The recall began October 12, 2018. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18289.

  7. Air bags, frontalJul 10, 2017

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Buick Lacrosse and Chevrolet Spark EV, Caprice PPV and SS vehicles, 2014-2017 Buick Encore and Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, 2015-2016 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Tahoe, Trax, Suburban and Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles, and 2015-2017 GMC Sierra HD 2500 and 3500 vehicles. While being previously remedied for recall 16V-651, the affected vehicles may not have received the complete software update necessary to remedy the recall condition. Without the update, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test. During this test, deployment of the frontal air bags and the seat belt pretensioners would not occur in the event of a crash.

A failure of the front air bags or seat belt pretensioners to deploy in the event of a crash necessitating deployment increases the risk of injury to the driver and front passenger.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the SDM software. Vehicles that have had a previous air bag deployment will have the SDM replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2017. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 17287.

  8. Air bags, frontalSep 8, 2016

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015-2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 3500 HD, Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Escalade ESV vehicles and 2014-2017 Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado 1500, Trax, Caprice Police Pursuit Vehicle, GMC Sierra 1500, Buick Encore, and 2014-2016 Buick Lacrosse, Chevrolet Spark EV and SS vehicles. In the affected vehicles, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test.

The recall began on October 13, 2016. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. 9. Seat beltsApr 12, 2016

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks manufactured January 29, 2013, to January 21, 2015. While entering the vehicle, the seat belt tensioner cable may be positioned such that the driver slides over it. This movement may result in the fatigue and separation of the cable.

If the tensioner cable separates, the driver may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing their risk of injury.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will modify the vehicles to prevent the tensioner from being damaged. Any tensioner that has already been damaged will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began on August 11, 2016. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 15822.

HARD BRAKE PEDAL WITH INCREASED EFFORT NEEDED TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL. FEELS LIKE TRUCK WILL NOT STOP. HAD TO HAVE TRUCK TOWED. REPORTED BACK ON 11-24-18 TO NHTSA: ( #1115347). BRAKE VACUUM PUMP WAS REPLACED @ GM DEALER ON 11-14-18, SAME SITUATION HAPPENED AGAIN ON 02-19-19. GM TSB # PIT5361D NEEDS TO BE A RECALL.

  2. Service brakes, Engine, Feb 21, 2019

WHEN I FIRST GOT THE TRUCK THE BRAKES OPERATED PERFECTLY FINE AFTER ABOUT THREE DAYS THE BRAKES ON THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK WOULD LOCK UP WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND WOULD NOT RELEASE. AFTER TWO SETS OF CALIPERS TWO SETS OF BRAKE PADS A SET OF ROTORS A TWO WEEKS GO BY WITH THE MECHANIC TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS TRUCK. THEY THEN REPLACE THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER, THERE WAS NO IMPROVEMENT. TURNS OUT TO BE THE BRAKE BOOSTER HAD FAILED ALONG WITH THE HYDRAULIC ABS CONTROL UNIT. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS ON WHATSOEVER THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME THE BRAKES WERE LOCKED UP THE ABS LIGHT DIDN'T COME ON UNTIL THE BRAKE BOOSTER WAS REPLACED INDICATING THAT THE ABS CONTROL UNIT WAS ALSO BAD. NOW I AM EXPERIENCING A TICKING COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE TICKING OCCURS AT IDLE END AS THE THROTTLE IS BEING ACTIVATED. HOWEVER THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP HAS REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION AS OF WHY IT COULD BE MAKING THIS TICKING NOISE OR IS JUST UNWILLING TO SAY ANYTHING .

  3. Service brakes, Feb 19, 2019

I PUSHED ON THE BRAKES WHEN SLOWLY PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT AND THE BRAKES GOT SQUISHY AND BARELY STOPPED BEFORE I HIT ANOTHER PARKED CAR. THIS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES BEFORE I GOT THE VEHICLE HOME. THEN A MESSAGE POPPED UP THAT SAID "SERVICE BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM". I TOOK THE TRUCK IN AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD NEED TO REPLACE THE VACUUM PUMP AND 2 BELTS.

  4. Service brakes, Feb 12, 2019

BRAKE ASSIST WARNING LIGHT CAME ON WITH HARD BRAKE PEDAL AT LOW SPEED BRAKING. DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTER. BROUGHT TO DEALER AND HAD TESTED WITH NO TROUBLE FOUND. DEALER SAID NO RECALLS OR SERVICE BULLETINS ON ISSUE.

  5. Service brakes, Feb 7, 2019

BRAKES NOT WORKING. HAD TO REPLACE THE VACUUM PUMP BELT, BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PUMP, AND AC BELT. COST $573.86. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 40K MILES. VERY DANGEROUS, VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP WHEN APPLYING BRAKES

  6. Service brakes, Feb 2, 2019

AT LOW SPEEDS BREAKING BECOMES EXTREMELY DIFFICULT LEADING TO LONGER STOPPING DISTANCE.

  7. Service brakes, Jan 22, 2019

BRAKES FADE AT LOW SPEEDS, VEHICLE CONTINUES TO TRAVEL WHILE THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. HARD BRAKE PEDAL PRESSURE MUST BE APPLIED TO STOP.

  8. Electronic stability control (ESC), Service brakes, Jan 20, 2019, crash

BRAKE PEDAL OR THAT INCREASED EFFORT IS NEEDED TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL. ALSO, IN SOME CASES A TICK OR TICKING NOISE MAY BE HEARD, WHICH MAY SOUND LIKE AN EXHAUST MANIFOLD LEAK.

  9. Service brakes, Jan 20, 2019

I WAS ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY TRAVELING WHEN THE TRAFFICE BECAME STOP AND GO. AS I WAS TRAVELING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, MY BRAKE BECAME STIFF AND WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO STOP AS NORMAL. I WAS ABLE TO STOP JUST SHORT OF REAR-ENDING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME, HOWEVER IT WAS MERELY BY INCHES. CONSIDERATIONS : I WAS ON A SLIGHT DECLINE AND MY VEHICLE HAS START ASSIST WHERE THE BRAKE PEDAL REMAINS STIFF WHEN IN EFFECT, IT FELT LIKE THIS ACTIVATED. I CONTINUED TO INCREASE PRESSURE THROUGH WHICH I THOUGHT I HEARD THE ABS ACTIVATE AND THE VEHICLE STOPPED.

  10. Service brakes, Jan 18, 2019

AT LOW SPEEDS BREAK PEDAL WILL NOT DEPRESS AND I HAVE A HARD TIME STOPPING THE TRUCK. I ALMOST HIT A CAR YESTERDAY AND AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH FOUND THAT THE VACUUM PUMP FAILURE IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. THIS IS EXTREMELY SCARY AND DANGEROUS. SOMEONE COULD EASILY HIT A PEDESTRIAN. MY TRUCK HAS LESS THAN 50,000 MILES, WHICH SEEMS TO BE THE AVERAGE FOR THIS PROBLEM.

  11. Service brakes, Jan 17, 2019

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY FORCE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP THE VEHICLE. LAURA BUICK GMC (903 N BLUFF RD, COLLINSVILLE, IL 62234, (618) 344-0121) DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V339000 (STEERING, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.

  12. Power train, Service brakes, Jan 17, 2019

BRAKE PEDAL GOES SOFT AND CAN HIT THE FLOOR ON OCCASION. MOSTLY HAPPENS WITH IN REVERSE. 40K MILES. ALSO TRANSMISSION SHIFTS ARE ERRATIC. RPM CAN SHOOT UP BETWEEN SHIFTS.

  13. Service brakes, Jan 17, 2019

SEVERAL TIMES AT LOW SPEED MANEUVERING THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME HARD, REQUIRED INCREASED EFFORT TO DEPRESS, AND BRAKING DISTANCES WERE INCREASED. OCCURS RANDOMLY AND WITHOUT WARNING. NO ACCIDENTS YET, BUT SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS. VEHICLE HAS ONLY 44,000 MILES.

  14. Service brakes, Jan 15, 2019

AT SLOW SPEEDS THE BRAKE ASSIST DOES NOT WORK. REQUIRES MUCH MORE EFFORT TO STOP VEHICLE. SEEMS RELATED TO FAULTY VACUUM PUMP AS MENTIONED BY OHTERS ON INTERNET FORUMS.

  15. Service brakes, Jan 12, 2019

WHEN APPLYING BRAKES AFTER FIRST PUSH THE PEDAL GETS HARD AND DOESN'T STOP HARDLY. DOES IT EITHER GOING FORWARD OR REVERSE. HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES SINCE TRUCK WAS BOUGHT NEW.

  16. Service brakes, Jan 7, 2019

POOR BRAKE PERFORMANCE. THE BRAKE PEDAL GETS STIFF AT A LOW SPEED AND CAUSES THE TRUCK TO NOT BRAKE COMPLETELY

  17. Service brakes, Jan 7, 2019

LOSS OF POWER BRAKES WHEN CREEPING AND APPLYING BRAKES SEVERAL TIMES IN A SHORT TIME. TESTED AND CHANGED VACUUM PUMP.

  18. Service brakes, Jan 3, 2019

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS OR WHEN THE GEAR SELECTOR WAS IN REVERSE, THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOORBOARD. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED PERIODICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO EVERETT BUICK GMC (21115 I-30 FRONTAGE RD, BRYANT, AR 72022, (501) 303-4393) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT NO FAILURE WAS FOUND. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE "PERFECT". THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.

  19. Service brakes, Jan 2, 2019

I WAS DRIVING DOWN A HILL AT ABOUT 15 MILES AN HOUR AND WHEN I WENT TO PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL I HEARD A NOISE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND TRUCK WOULD NOT STOP. I HAD TO SWERVE OFF THE ROAD TO AVOID A COLLISION. AFTER, THE BRAKE PRESSURE RETURNED WHILE DRIVING, BUT WHEN STOPPED IT WOULD LOSE PEDAL FEEL AND GO BACK TO THE FLOOR. AFTER READING ARTICLES IT WAS OBVIOUS THE VACUUM PUMP WAS FAILING. I LIMPED THE TRUCK HOME AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND AM WAITING TO HEAR BACK.

  20. Service brakes, Jan 1, 2019

THERE IS A KNOWN BRAKE PROBLEM CAUSED BY FAULTY VACUUM PUMP. WITH THE VACUUM PUMP FAILING THERE WILL BE LOSS OF ASSISTED BRAKING. SOME PEOPLE HAVE NOTED REQUIRING 2 FEET TO STOMP ON THE BRAKES TO STOP THE TRUCK. THE DANGEROUS BRAKING PROBLEM SEEMS TO HAPPEN DURING LOW SPEEDS. SOME MEMBERS ON THE FORUMS HAVE MENTIONED GETTING INTO ACCIDENTS. GMC DOES NOT COVER THE VACUUM PUMP UNDER THEIR WARRANTY WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. I HAVE LISTED SOME FORUM THREADS AS PROOF OF NOT JUST ME HAVING THIS ISSUE. HTTPS://WWW.SILVERADOSIERRA.COM/ECOTEC3-5-3L-V8/BRAKE-BOOSTER-VACUUM-PUMP-FAILURE-T686609.HTML HTTPS://WWW.SILVERADOSIERRA.COM/BRAKES/ROCK-HARD-BRAKE-PEDAL-2014-LOW-SPEED-T595097.HTML HTTPS://WWW.GM-TRUCKS.COM/FORUMS/TOPIC/204871-VACUUM-PUMP-GOING-OUT/ HTTPS://FOX6NOW.COM/2018/11/23/GM-UNDER-INVESTIGATION-FOR-FAULTY-BRAKE-VACUUM-PUMPS/ EVEN THE GOVERNMENT IS INVESTIGATING.

  21. Service brakes, Dec 27, 2018

IT STARTED HAPPENING A WEEK OR SO AGO WHERE WHEN IN REVERSE OR AFTER SWITCHING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE AND TRYING TO BRAKE THE PEDAL WOULDN'T COMPRESS, IT WAS AS IF THEY WERE LOCKING UP ON ME. I WOULD HAVE TO PUT MOST OF MY BODY WEIGHT ON THE PEDAL TO EVEN GET THE TRUCK TO STOP, TO THE POINT WHERE I ALMOST RAN INTO MY NEIGHBORS CAR BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY. IT SEEMED TO MAINLY HAPPEN AT SLOWER SPEEDS, IN BOTH DRIVE AND REVERSE AS IT HAPPENED ON MORE THAN ONE OCCURRENCE. LUCKILY I DECIDED TO TAKE IT TO THE GMC DEALER BEFORE ANYTHING SERIOUS HAPPENED, BUT THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AND I FEEL IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. THE DEALER ALSO KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THE ISSUE WAS BEFORE I COULD GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, SO IT SEEMS LIKE THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. THEY REPLACED MY VACUUM PUMP AND WE WILL SEE IF THAT FIXES THE PROBLEM.

  22. Service brakes, Dec 23, 2018

BRAKE PUMP WENT OUT ALMOST RAN INTO A POLE. READING ONLINE AND SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. ANGRY!!

  23. Service brakes, Dec 17, 2018

I WAS PULLING A TRAVEL TRAILER AT 55 MILES AN HOUR, I CAME OVER A HILL TO AN INTERSECTION AND I HAD LOST MY BRAKES. I MANAGED TO FINALLY COME TO A STOP. I DISCONNECTED MY TRAILER. I WENT TO A LOCAL GMC DEALERSHIP, AND THEY DID NOT HAVE TIME TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE. I TOOK IT TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP,AND THEY SAID MY VACUUM BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP HAD FAILED. THEY INSTALLED A NEW VACUUM BREAKER BOOSTER PUMP FOR THE NEXT DAY. THIS WAS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION, AS I LOST 95% OF MY BREAKING POWER WHILE PULLING MY TRAVEL TRAILER.

  24. Service brakes, Dec 17, 2018

WHILE DRIVING AT SLOW SPEEDS, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME VERY HARD TO PUSH. THIS CAUSED THE TRUCK TO BE DIFFICULT TO STOP, WHICH CAUSED ME TO ALMOST REAR-END THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. IN RESPONSE TO THIS, THE GMC DEALER REPLACED THE VACUUM PUMP.

  25. Service brakes, Dec 13, 2018

WHEN BACKING UP, AFTER REPEATEDLY PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND WOULD NOT STOP THE TRUCK. THE TRUCK ROLLED UNCONTROLLABLY DOWN THE DRIVEWAY AND LUCKILY DID NOT HIT ANYONE OR ANYTHING. IT COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE THOUGH. THE SAME ISSUE OCCURRED IN A PARKING LOT WHEN BACKING UP IN AN OPEN SPACE. AFTER REPEATED HITTING THE BRAKE PEDAL TO LINE UP THE VEHICLE, THE BRAKES STOPPED WORKING AN I COULD NO LONGER STOP THE TRUCK.
