A manufacturing issue with the front seat belts may cause the seat belt buckle channel to interfere with the release button, preventing the seat belt buckle from latching.
An unlatched seat belt cannot properly restrain the seat occupant during a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
Dealers will replace the driver and front passenger seat belt buckle release buttons or the buckle assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 18, 2023. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Accord Sedan, Accord Hybrid, and 2019-2020 Insight vehicles. A software error may cause intermittent or continuous disruptions in communication between the Body Control Module (BCM) and other components. This may result in malfunctions of various systems such as the windshield wipers and defroster, rearview camera, exterior lights, audible warning of a stopped vehicle, and power window operation. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems" and number 111, "Rear Visibility" as well as FMVSS numbers 104, 108, 114, 118, and 305.
Various system malfunctions such as inoperative windshield wipers, defroster, rearview camera, or exterior lighting can increase the risk of a crash.
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will update the BCM software, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 22, 2021. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is X95.

My 2019 Honda Accord has recently with in the last two weeks started to randomly cut out. Driving down the road and completely cuts off. So far I have been able to release the throttle, and re-apply and it would go again. I drive Uber/Lyft in the Tampa Bay area and this problem is a Huge concern for my safety as well as everyone else. Crown Honda Pinellas Park, FL had it for two days and claimed they couldn't get it to happen on a test drive, so they couldn't fix it. All warning lights came on, but reset after the car was turned off and currently have not come back on yet.

Emergency front collision braking system activates out of nowhere, causing the car to suddenly brake with no warning, although there is nothing in front of the vehicle. Now all the mitigation system lights are on, and the braking system is no longer working. I took it to Honda to repair it twice within the year, and now it happened again, almost causing an accident.

This car brakes on its own . I reported it to Honda since I have had it have been dealing with the issue it brakes on its own I filled out a form with you guys after reading about “Ghost Braking” so I am not alone this car is dangerous it has been serviced multiple times Honda Corp is aware requested a buy back. Wondering where you guys are in your investigation I have pictures the sensors are all out of whack mitigation control warnings etc but the car literally brakes on its own highway and street Honda states they cannot disable the features. Engine stall in the middle of the road making me hit an object and it lock up the steering wheel for I couldn't are nun causing the car to being in an accident this cost my insurance $4.5K to fix in damages and the car was under Honda care and Honda care basic warranty because they have on the carfax that it was minor because the amount of damage that cause Honda should be reliable for this accident bc this was a new car the steering wheel was not supposed to lock up while driving are just stall in the highway for I can’t steer

My car is losing power I can’t go over 60 miles over I had spent so much money on this car 2.the AC is not working no more I told the people at the Honda dealer that it will hiss and my car will vibrate in the seats and this been going on for 2 years and I had Honda care and the people at the dealership told me it’s not nun to worry saying it’s common for Honda 3.ever time I turn my wheel it’s make noise and I got my struts,ball joints,control arm ,inner tire rods and etc even got my emissions replace and it’s still making noise tire rod have to replace 3 times 4.my steering after I got my wheel alignment the tire rod broke and my wheel say crooked after I got it done again it still wasn’t fix and went to another dealership to get it fix and it was still the same problem 5. My transmission is going out and it’s slipping my car have 108,000 miles and I take care of my car

Back up camera malfunctioning since the past couple weeks. It displays these colorful artifacts as shown in the attached images. It makes it harder to observes obstructions, cars while backing up. This is the second time it has happened with my car that the automatic emergency braking system got applied and there was no one in the front. The braking system beeped as if it was about to collide and then it braked. Today a car behind me was almost rear ended me because of this sudden braking.
