WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED (65) ENCOUNTERED HEAVY RAINFALL, TURNED WIPERS TO HIGH, WITHIN 3 SWIPES DRIVER SIDE WIPER FLIPS OFF WINDSHIELD ON LEFT, FLIES BACK TO MIDDLE OF WINDSHIELD OF DRIVER SIDE WITHOUT CLEARING WINDOW. WIPER NOW APPEARS TO BE "BROKEN" IN THAT IT ONLY CLEARS TOTAL WINDOW WHILE IN STOPPED POSITION, ANY MOVEMENT FORWARD BY RV STARTS THE FLIP OFF WINDSHIELD. INVESTIGATION SHOWS THE ENTIRE WIPER MECHANISM IS ROTATING ON ITS MOUNTING. THIS PROBLEM APPARENTLY HAPPENED TO THE ALANTE ON THE ORIGINAL TRIP TO BE DELIVERED FOR SALE IN MONTANA.
