UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. 2016 HONDA ACCORD, 9200 MILES. ON 7/14/17 I PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT OF MY LOCAL DRUGSTORE. I LOCATED A PARKING SPOT, AND WAS SLOWLY TURNING RIGHT TO PULL INTO THE PARKING SPACE WHEN MY ENGINE REVVED, THE CAR ACCELERATED, UP OVER THE CONCRETE CURB, OVER BIKE RACK AND INTO THE SIDE OF THE BRICK BUILDING. BY THIS TIME, BOTH OF MY FEET WERE ON THE BRAKE BUT THE CAR DID NOT STOP. THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. I TURNED THE CAR OFF. POLICE WERE CALLED AND AN ACCIDENT REPORT WAS TAKEN. I CONTACTED HONDA AMERICA AND THEY ASSIGNED ME A CASE MANAGER, WHO RETURNED MY CALL AND TOOK ALL INFORMATION. HONDA SENT A FIELD REPRESENTATIVE TO EXAMINE THE CAR AT THE BODY SHOP. AFTER THIS THE CASE MANAGER CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW HONDA FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR, FOLLOWED BY A LETTER TO CONFIRM THAT. MY FOOT WAS NOT IN THE ACCELERATOR AT THE TIME OF THE CRASH. I HAVE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, ACCIDENT REPORT, REPAIR BILL, MEDICAL BILLS. I WILL PROVIDE THESE TO YOU BY MAIL OR FAX. I CANNOT SEEM TO UPLOAD ON THE MOBILE APPLICATION.
