Honda recall letter received February 2024, stating that car's fuel pump is defective, and will be replaced as part of the recall. It is now mid-May, four months later, and local Honda dealer has no idea when the fuel pump will be available. Meanwhile we feel unsafe driving this car. This is a very big problem for us.
Lane departure, Forward collision avoidance, May 11, 2024
There are a lot of boxes it would not let me check. Started 2020. For no apparent reason the car will just lose all power and all the warning lights will go on. Some times it will just automatically break. Luckily the times it's happened I was city driving but had I been on freeway when it happened may have been dealt for myself and others. Car continues to have same problem, with losing power, all warning lights and breaks. If the 10amp fuse is out it does it. As you can see I've taken numerous times and paid lots of money. I was only aware of 2 recalls and would like to know about the others. I have a lot more to say.

I’ve owned this car for almost 6 years now and one day out of nowhere all warning lights on this car came on and the car can barely drive up to 10 MPH. The car won’t go past 10 MPH. Engine light, cruise control and every single warning light were showing on the dashboard. I ended up paying huge amount to get it fix and on top of that I was not able to go to work.

During drives I feel my vehicle stalling out as I push on the gas pedal. This occurs randomly and I'm sure the fuel/pump needs to be replaced soon. I've even experienced the engine to shake and a few times it has not started. I regularly drive this vehicle and I have been trying to get the part replaced since the recall was submitted. This is unsafe for my wife and kids as well as myself.

I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve taken the car to several other places to find out that the repair guys are at each and everyone as if they know that my car is going to be there is very scary is very creepy. Every last one of them works or worked for the dealership that I purchased the car and had repairs done, my car has been keyed in operable. I’m having issues with getting it repaired to find out what the repair is. I’m getting the runaround. I’m buying parts and services for things and I’m still not figuring out what’s wrong with the car at this point I feel like I’m being targeted. I would like to know the name I have filed complaints. I’ve spoken to Jackie and she has not contacted me back or any of the people , that works at the Honda manufacture I can provide your proof I have some unknown trusted credentials that are popping up. I’m not sure if all of this happened after they did the TV broadcasting thing back in October, but I am very much aware that there’s something going on and I am unable to figure it out and these people that work at the dealership are not wanting to fix the problem because I’ve already filed several complaints with them, I just wanna get my car fixed or at least know what’s wrong with it

I purchased the vehicle 1/21. I only took my car to Midland Honda to do all repairs. The last repair I paid them for was a tuneup June 2023. I paid them $1082.90 for the service. October 2023 my car started to do the same thing it did back in June for the tune up. So this time I took the car to AutoZone because the check engine light came on. It showed that it was a misfire. They said the car should not be doing that and that I needed to return it back to the dealership which idea they did a check on the car I was being told it was a fuel pump issue. I asked them if there would’ve been any notification prior because based on all of the oil changes and anything maintenance that I had them to do they never inform me of anything of a repair that would’ve required that , I did some research and so that’s some family members male family members, and they inform me that there was a recall for the fuel system None of my documentation from Honda said anything about any other major issue and that I would not be having any problems they also inform me that the price for the fuel filter would be $1700 to have it replaced. I then took the car for another appointment at another Honda dealership in my area, they perform the same check. They’re all ASE certified mechanics assuming they all use the same diagnostic device. The other dealership never said anything to me about the fuel system. They only inform me of the antilock brake system, which was puzzling to me because Advance had already told me, it was a misfire for the spark plugs we looked at the spark plugs, the spark plugs from what they said does not look like what a spark plug should look like that has been putting in a calm that was just replaced in June , I contacted the Honda Dealership manufacturing company back in December and was told then that there was a recall for the fuel system. I’m not sure what the issue is because last not last month March I took the car to another Honda and was told it was a blown Head gas

Forward collision avoidance, Apr 23, 2024
I have 2018 Honda accord sport 2.0 manual transmission. I’m dealing with the ABS module malfunction where the abs module board is detective due to the pins being unsoldered due to intense heat in the engine area. To repair the ABS module it costs around $1200. But Honda has not made the abs module better. Mechanic states even the new module will not be guaranteed after replacing the module. I need help to get this item recalled. As this issue has been going on for any Honda from 2011-2022 veichels.
Engine, Apr 23, 2024
My 2018 Honda Accord began malfunctioning on [XXX]. It completely stalled out and all of the warning lights came on. The vehicle was being driven and began to shudder upon acceleration at just 15 mph. The vehicle ended up seizing and lost all acceleration capabilities. The vehicle was able to be pulled over at idle speed and had trouble starting. once I got the car to start, I was able to drive the vehicle into a safe parking lot but only at idle speed as the acceleration was not functioning. I had received the fuel pump recall and had the car towed to Brandon Honda in Brandon FL, and they determined it was not a fuel pump failure but a blown head gasket. I also received a second opinion that confirmed this diagnosis and determined the issue to be the blown head gasket causing coolant to mix with my oil and leak into spark plugs causing spark plug 3 to fail as well. Upon replacement of the spark plug, the car functions once again with acceleration capabilities, however, to prevent any further damage, I had the car towed back to my place of residence. Upon further investigation, I am finding more people experiencing this issue with their new Honda Accords as well. The head gasket should not fail this early on in owning this vehicle especially being the only owner of this vehicle and only 130k miles. I have always kept up with coolant levels, and oil changes, and used the recommended octane by Honda, 87. Repair still has not been made as I am exploring all of my options, however, if this malfunction had happened on the interstate, it could have been fatal.
