This has caused my car to stall while driving. It's causing sputtering and other issues. All lights come on the dash at times also. I've been told by the dealer the parts are ordered for this recall, and now I'm finding that there are NO PARTS for this recall. I have a three year old son and cannot afford to have it stall with him.

As I was driving down the street, the Automatic Emergency Braking system was activated and brought my vehicle to a complete stop! There was no vehicle directly in front of me and it almost caused the vehicle behind me to slam into me had they not veered into the other lane of traffice to avoid rear-ending me. I could have easliy been rear-ended and injured and/or caused several accidents as a result of this. The AEB sytem has activated before with no apparent reason, but this was the first time it actually came to a complete stop. Fortunately, I was not on the highway at much higher speeds as this could have had serious and possible deadly consequences. There have no been warnings or indicators previous to this incident that would have alerted me that there may be some type of issue with this system.

I was stopped at a light and was the first vehicle. When it turned green I started to go. I saw a short ways in front of me one of those metal plates over a hole in the road. I started to coast from 20 mph with the anticipation I would be at 10 mph when I got to it. Just before I would go over it the emergency brake system kicked in and took the vehicle to a stop. I tried to make it go by stepping on the gas but it came to a complete stop. I am thankful the vehicle behind me did not hit me.

When the adaptive cruise control is engaged there are times that the vehicle will brake by itself when there is no vehicle in front of me. I drive 52 miles one way to work and then home daily. This happens at least once almost every time that it is used. As for the blind spot warning it randomly will go on and off saying an object is near especially when parked at red lights with none of the vehicles moving around me.

I saw an article that this was being investigated, and I’ve experienced the same issue multiple times. I will be driving on the highway with no car directly in front of me and every so often my car automatically emergency brakes as if there is a vehicle in front of me that I’m about to hit. This happened to me again just the other day.
Forward collision avoidance, Apr 17, 2024
Occasional braking when there is no reason for the car to brake
Lane departure, Forward collision avoidance, Apr 17, 2024
The lane departure warning activated when centered in a lane with clearly marked lines on the road and the steering wheel started pulling me out of the lane on a major highway. Within 5 seconds of the initial warning a follow up warning saying "Road Departure" appears and the car initiated automatic breaking in the middle of a highway. There are not other cars around me at the time of the incident, but this could have caused a major accident as my car slammed on the breaks at 55 MPH. At no time did the car leave the lane despite the warnings. I reported this to the dealership and was told they would look into this if it happened again.

Engine, Fuel/propulsion system, Apr 12, 2024
The car has 73,820 miles on it. Flashing check engine light came on, stalling, unable to drive the car over 10 MPH, lucky I was around my house. If this would have happened on the freeway, I would probably get into a bad accident. Towed it to local Honda Dealership, came back as fuel injector problem (one of the cylinder was misfiring). After reading online posts of other owners & no coolant in the reservoir, I asked them to check the head gasket because a lot of complains about this problem. The dealer ship replaced the head gasket but not the fuel injectors after I asked them to double check the fuel injectors, but they insisted that only the head gasket was the only problem. After a week and a half, I went and tried to pick up my car. Before I was able to drive it off the lot, check engine light came back as one of the cylinders was misfiring again. To this day, I am still without my car. Now thinking about whole situation, we experienced some engine shaking when the engine first started. But it ran fine after a little bit, so we did not think anything of it. Good Will program of Honda will pick up the repair cost, my portion is $900.00 as deductible.

Fuel injectors went out not even a year of having my vehicle… and it cause electrical problems in the car where you can’t use and car features…. There is so many reports there needs to be a recall review
Engine, Apr 11, 2024
I work at a dealership. we have sold 2 2018 Honda accords where all the lights have popped on the dash multiple times. the first one went to the Honda dealer for a diagnostic and came back with fuel injector issues. after replaced, it went back and was told there was a blown head gasket and turbo. the second accord went to a different Honda dealer for a diag and once again was told it was a blown head gasket and turbo. after researching this issue I've found it is a common issue which starts with a misfire, all lights on the dash, and fuel injectors. no one has had any blown head gasket signs as the car overheating or coolant mixed with oil. we have received a third 2018 accord which arrived with a misfire. we have changed spark plugs 4 times as well as the coils. when starting the car it shakes aggressively as if it wants to stall and all the lights keep popping on the dash - the same signs as the previous vehicles. taking it to the dealer for a diagnosis and either it comes back with injectors - which will eventually lead to the head gasket, or straight into the head gasket being blown. there needs to be a recall at least so we are not wasting time and money with all these diagnostics and repairs.
Electrical system, Engine, Apr 10, 2024
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ongoing electrical issues plaguing my 2018 Honda Accord, VIN: [XXX] ]. Since the initial purchase of the vehicle, I have experienced recurring problems with dashboard lights illuminating unexpectedly, indicating underlying electrical malfunctions. In an attempt to rectify these issues, I have diligently brought the vehicle to authorized Honda service centers on multiple occasions. Despite their efforts, including the replacement of the electrical wiring harness in 2023, the problem persists unabated. Despite extensive diagnostics and repair attempts, the root cause of the issue remains unresolved, leading to significant inconvenience and frustration. Moreover, during one service visit, Honda service personnel erroneously diagnosed a faulty gas pump, resulting in an unnecessary replacement at my expense totaling $1375.00. It is pertinent to note that Honda was already aware of a recall affecting my vehicle, yet failed to rectify the issue under the recall and instead charged me for the repair. Subsequent attempts to seek full reimbursement for this unjust expense were rebuffed by Honda corporate, citing the partial financing of the repairs as a justification for their refusal. To compound matters, on Saturday, [XXX], I once again encountered a recurrence of the dashboard lights issue, signaling a persistent and unresolved defect within the vehicle's electrical system. This ongoing issue has severely compromised the safety, reliability, and enjoyment of my vehicle ownership experience. I am at a loss for further recourse and demand immediate action to address and rectify these persistent electrical issues with my 2018 Honda Accord. I expect Honda to honor its commitment to customer satisfaction and take decisive steps to remedy this situation promptly and comprehensively. Over the past two weeks, I have encountered problems with my car's many lights. These issues have been related to issues with the braking system, collisions, road departure, emission system, ACC system, vehicle stability, and electric power system. By disconnecting the battery, the lights have been switched off. My car can only be operated in this manner.) The automobile would not go faster, and I was stuck in traffic, endangering my safety. There might have been an accident if someone had been speeding. This had happened before, and when I called the Honda store in Milledgeville, Georgia, to report the problem, they said they were unable to locate a problem because the lights had vanished. Yes, Butler Honda in Milledgeville reported that they were unable to locate a problem. The mechanic informed me that it was OK to drive even if the car had lights on because they couldn't use the car today. However, a few days later, the lights had vanished once more. It occurred approximately once in July 2023, twice in December 2023, once in March 2024, and once in April 2024. Before the several lights, there was no warning light.

On March 14 2024 my fuel Injector failed. Took it to the dealer to get then fix. Currently getting a loss of mpg but car is running good
Fuel/propulsion system, Apr 3, 2024
My issues started end of December 2023, where my car would all of a sudden stop, and this happened to me on a highway at a speed of 70mph in Houston, which is a very serious safety issue. After this happened, I got this checked out at Honda dealership, they informed that this happened because of an outstanding recall for fuel pump and told me to wait till Feb 2024 when I will receive a recall letter and parts will be Ava by March 2024. By the time Feb came, I got a letter and it says that it will be available in Fall of 2024, that is almost entire year of 2024. Dealership said they can’t do anything and told me to reach out of corporate Honda, following their advice I filed a complaint to Honda corporate and when then finally got back to me, they told me Honda corporate can’t do anything and I will have to wait till fall 2024. I informed them that it is a safety issue and that it is effecting my job, because I am currently car less, I have to ask around to different family members to borrow their car, this is effect negatively to my livelihood; financially and mentally and Honda do not care. Now I will be out of a car for 9-10 months and I am still making payments for the car and car insurance. I also lost my job just yesterday because of this. You guys are my last option, I do not know what else I can do from my end, I need my car to be fixed so I can do support myself financially.
