  1. Electrical system, Engine, Fuel/propulsion system, Jun 9, 2026

When accelerating the vehicle will not go or it will start to move then essentially stop, seconds later it starts moving. There is a delay and it’s extremely dangerous when there is oncoming traffic and/or the drivers behind you don’t realize what is happening. My jeep is a 4xe and this does happen frequently since the last “fix” for the recalls

  2. Steering, Suspension, Electrical system, Jun 9, 2026

My vehicle suffers from severe electrical/hydraulic failures matching recall 21D (NHSTSA ID 26V363000) for the electrical hydraulic power steering pump (EHPSP). Despite Stellantis acknowledging a 1.07- million vehicle fire hazard for this 2.0L turbo, my VIN shows "0 unrepaired recalls" due to a database omission. The vehicle is available for inspection. Safety risk: Active Electronic Stability control (ESC) faults and "service start-stop" dashboard warnings are present. This defect causes severe voltage fluctuations and sudden heavy steering loss while driving, creating an immediate crash hazard and spontaneous under hood fire risk while parked. Dealer history & warranty abuse: certified jeep dealerships have repeatedly failed to fix the root cause. Elm Grove Jeep (Wheeling WV) misdiagnosed the system and repeatedly billed my third-party warranty for thousands of dollars to fix cascading mechanical damage instead of the underlying defect. Parts replaced is 4 consecutive sets of rear shocks, front shocks, a steering clock spring and a drag link pitman arm boot. when elm grove failed to resolve it Stellantis corporate instructed me to take it to another dealer for a star case to be opened there. I took it to Steubenville Jeep (Ohio) with an active ASC light and failed rear shocks and was told "couldn't replicate" the issue and dismissed it. A few weeks ago, the service "start-stop" safety light triggered. Stellantis had corporate knowledge of this ongoing defect for months via prior state Attorney General case but refused to cooperate and waited knowing AG wouldn't keep it open past a certain number of days and replied a day outside of the window. They are leaving an active fire hazard on the road, omitting my VIN from the database rollout, and depleting my personal warranty's financial limits. I request a federal audit to force the inclusion of my VIN.

  3. Steering, Power train, Jun 8, 2026

Jeep death wobble, terribly! Starting when going over 55mph, now happens often and anytime the road has a bump, uneven, or hole.

  4. Steering, Suspension, May 23, 2026

Death wobble almost caused me to go head on with a semi at 57mph.. it doesn’t matter the speed either . I’ve had it to two different dealerships they replace the steering stabilizer that made it worse . They tell me it doesn’t do it when they have it .It’s been aligned 4 times replaced tires and it’s getting worse. Something needs to be done I know several people with this issue. And I know there was a recall on other years for this problem

  5. Visibility, May 21, 2026

The contact owns a 2021 JEEP Wrangler. The contact stated that while opening the vehicle's rear swing gate, they noticed that the rear windshield defroster grid was completely burnt and melted, with a scorched power wire leading directly to the glass terminal. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: (24V111000 (VISIBILITY) however, the VIN was not included in the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed to have a failure on the defroster. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 57,140.

  6. Steering, Suspension, May 20, 2026

The vehicle Wobbles violently above 75 mph, especially crossing over passes.

  7. Structure, May 18, 2026

Paint bubbling and aluminum body panel corrosion on hood and front doors of my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (VIN [XXX] ), currently at 63,000 miles. This is a well-documented manufacturing defect affecting 2018-2021 JL Wrangler and 2020-2021 JT Gladiator vehicles with aluminum body panels. Stellantis has issued multiple Technical Service Bulletins addressing this exact condition: TSB 31-001-18 (March 2018), TSB 31-001-19 (July 2019), TSB 31-002-20 (October 2020), TSB 31-002-22 (December 2022), and most recently TSB 31-001-26 Revision A (February 2026), all titled "Aluminum Body Panel Corrosion Repair." The corrosion presents as paint bubbling along the leading edge of the hood and on the door panels. Filiform corrosion develops under the paint over many months before becoming visible. My corrosion warranty expired in January 2026, just one month before the latest TSB was issued. I am reporting this defect for federal documentation. The manufacturer has been aware of this defect for over 8 years (since 2018) and continues to issue revised TSBs rather than implementing a recall. A class action lawsuit ([XXX] et al. v. FCA US LLC) has been filed regarding this same defect. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

  8. Suspension, May 17, 2026

I was on [XXX] . Going about 55 when I went over a bump in the road and my jeep started shaking out of control going into the other lane almost causing an accident. It a jeep wrangler rubicon 2021 with 23000 miles on it and garage keep. Jeep should stand behind this problem due to the fact it involves many jeeps and can kill someone. It’s a well known problem that they are not stand behind. How many accidents or people killed does it take to have this safety hazard addressed by this corporation. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

  9. Electrical system, May 16, 2026

Instrument cluster failure. I completed a short trip wherein it was working fine. Went back out several hours later to return home at midnight. The instrument cluster had no power and did not function. I am currently driving with no speedometer, no tachometer, no fuel gauge. I am flying blind because of a known defect in Jeep instrument clusters (NHTSA report 24V652000) between 2020-and 2024. Recall 30b was used to narrowly target other jeeps...but mine somehow does not qualify meaning it is my problem...though it is a well enough known issue that they have a recall on other instrument clusters just failing. As we know from Fight Club they have no intent to do recalls on anything other than the least cost to themselves: “Wherever I'm going, I'll be there to apply the formula. I'll keep the secret intact. It's simple arithmetic. It's a story problem. If a new car built by my company leaves Chicago traveling west at 60 miles per hour, and the rear differential locks up, and the car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside, does my company initiate a recall? You take the population of vehicles in the field (A) and multiple it by the probable rate of failure (B), then multiply the result by the average cost of an out-of-court settlement (C). A times B times C equals X. This is what it will cost if we don't initiate a recall. If X is greater than the cost of a recall, we recall the cars and no one gets hurt. If X is less than the cost of a recall, then we don't recall.” ― [XXX] lub [XXX] I [XXX] (B)(6) INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

  10. Electrical system, Engine, Fuel/propulsion system, May 6, 2026

The primary component involved is the high-voltage charging system, specifically the charging port and connector interface. The vehicle previously experienced a confirmed failure involving a scorched charging port and a melted pin, which required replacement. The same symptoms have since returned, including heat at the charging interface and a burning odor. The vehicle is currently located at an authorized dealership and is available for inspection upon request. This condition presents a safety risk due to the potential for electrical overheating and possible fire hazard. In addition, the vehicle has experienced repeated loss of power while driving, which creates a risk in traffic conditions and could impact driver control and safety. The issue has been previously confirmed by the dealership, which replaced the charging port due to thermal damage. However, upon recurrence of similar symptoms, the dealership has refused to diagnose or service the vehicle, preventing further confirmation at this time. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized dealership on multiple occasions for related issues, including the prior charging system failure. The manufacturer has not directly inspected the vehicle but has been contacted for assistance. Prior to the charging system failure, symptoms included heat at the charging connector and a burning odor. The vehicle has also exhibited electrical system irregularities and repeated loss of power while driving beginning after recall-related service in or around August 2024.

  11. Service brakes, May 2, 2026

I have had a brake problem since September 2025. The symptom is a hard brake pedal that does not stop the vehicle at low speeds. There is a similar problem with other Wrangler models that do have a recall issued. It was related to a software update around the same time my problem started. I have had it back to the dealer (Hoover CDJR in Summerville, SC) at least 3 times. At the last visit, they said that they acknowledge there is an issue but Stellantis does not know root cause or have a repair. The problem does not cause a diagnostic code. Not being able to stop reliably in low speed situations include dangers in parking lots, my driveway, stop signs and lights. I have been lucky that I have not made contact with another vehicle or pedestrian yet but it has been close a few times. I fear it is a matter of time before the luck runs out.

  12. Electrical system, Engine, Apr 26, 2026

Vehicle has gone through the 68C update and the car sometimes hesitates in stop and go traffic. Also the vehicle hesitates on acceleration almost causing an accidents more times than I can count.

  13. Electrical system, Engine, Apr 21, 2026, fire

Driving on the highway smoke came from under the hood in the right hand side forcing my family out on the highway keep ingulfed in flames and burnt to a crisp

  14. Structure, Other or unspecified, Apr 20, 2026, fire

The car which is barely driven, suddenly caught on fire while parked in my home driveway after sitting there for close to 8 hours. so the car wasn't in use at the time. It's completely gone.

  15. Engine, Apr 14, 2026

The engine is overheating at idle speed and there's a phamtom coolant leak. We just bought this in January and are already having major issues. Seems to be a problem with the plastic coolant reservoir being near a very hot engine.

  16. Steering, Apr 6, 2026

This has happened several times and I have spent so much money trying to fix the issue but i dont seem to be able to do so. Whenever I am driving my Jeep on any road at speeds above 55 miles per hour the front wheels begin to vibrate violently and shake the car. After researching this is called "Death Wobbles." It is very scary when it happens and even more so when I have my children in the car. It feels as if the car is losing control and have been thrown off the road a couple of times due to the loss of control. I am worried and scared to drive my Jeep around due to this oscillating movement in the wheels and I am no longer understanding what could be the issue. My guess is the Jeep was manufactured with an aluminum gear box instead of a steel gear box. I think it is unfair to have to fix issues like these out of pocket, especially since I am still Making payments on this vehicle. This has happened many times but it began in fall of 2024.

  17. Vehicle speed control, Engine, Fuel/propulsion system, Apr 3, 2026

"The vehicle exhibits a recurring Loss of Motive Power (LMP) during low-speed maneuvers (intersections) and highway speeds (50+ mph). The failure is preceded by erratic instrument cluster behavior (gauge spikes) and results in a total loss of propulsion without prior warning. This defect persists despite the completion of Recall ZB7 and Recall 68C. The dealership has duplicated the failure but refuses further repair, stating the vehicle is 'out of scope' for current remedies, placing the driver at high risk of a collision." Screenshots include: "Written admission from Jeep dealership confirming duplicated loss of motive power and acceleration struggle following a software update. Dealer admits software is 'more sensitive' than previous versions but has no physical way to resolve the safety defect." The manufacturer-authorized repair facility stating they want to release an unsafe vehicle back to me without a remedy. "There is nothing for any of us to do with your vehicle here at Chapman" and tells you to contact Chrysler. The Video Screenshots that show the gauge spikes (RPM/Oil needles jumping and dropping to zero).

  18. Suspension, Apr 1, 2026

Noise while driving, gets louder when speed increases. Wheel bearings need replacement.

  19. Electrical system, Other or unspecified, Engine, Mar 26, 2026

A recall repair was completed in 2023 related to an overheating warning. Recently, the same issue has returned. The engine cooling fan runs at a very high speed for several minutes and then shuts off, even when the vehicle is cold or operating under normal conditions. An overheating warning message appeared briefly while driving, but the temperature gauge remained within the normal range. This suggests the engine may not actually be overheating and that the issue may be related to a faulty sensor, electrical system, or control module. The problem has not yet been fully diagnosed by a dealer due to diagnostic costs, but the symptoms are consistent with the original issue that led to the recall repair. This condition could pose a safety risk because the driver may receive inaccurate overheating warnings or may not be alerted if a real overheating condition occurs. The issue is intermittent and has occurred both while driving and when the vehicle is stationary. Attempts were made to contact the manufacturer to report this as a repeat issue after a recall repair, but no resolution was provided and a formal case was not successfully established.

  20. Power train, Vehicle speed control, Engine, Mar 26, 2026

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? -After the 68C recall update for the HV battery failures, the vehicle has not been able to consistently maintain or provide power due to the limitation of the battery introduced as part of the recall. This is most noticeable driving in Electric Mode below 60% charge. The throttle behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable due to the recent updated How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? -I was merging onto a controlled access highway and unable to accelerate after pulling into the travel lane from the merging lane due to the limitations of the battery power. The engine did not respond in time to provide power to the vehicle. The occurrence of the loss of power is unpredictable. Some times the electric battery and motor can provide the necessary power, and in others it does not respond to the throttle demand at the same state of charge with no indication of the issue. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? -It has not yet Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? -It has not Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? -No warning lamps were provided

  21. Other or unspecified, Fuel/propulsion system, Mar 25, 2026

The high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) failed internally while I was driving at night, causing the vehicle to suddenly stall and shut off completely while my children were in the vehicle. This resulted in an immediate loss of power and created a dangerous situation in traffic. The failure caused metal debris to spread throughout the entire fuel system, and the dealership confirmed that the system requires full replacement. I was quoted approximately $15,000 for repairs. This vehicle previously had a manufacturer recall related to the fuel pump that was completed in 2022 and is now listed as closed. Despite the recall repair, the same failure occurred again. This demonstrates that the recall remedy did not correct the defect. The sudden engine shutdown without warning presents a serious safety hazard, especially at night and with passengers in the vehicle. Its been at the dealer ship for a month.

  22. Electrical system, Mar 23, 2026

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where an engine oil replacement was performed, and the High-Voltage Battery was replaced. Upon further inspection, the local dealer diagnosed the High-Voltage Battery replacement as a failure. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle remained at the local dealer for several months; however, the parts were not available for the recall repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

  23. Steering, Mar 22, 2026

While driving on roads I would characterize as good, Our 2021 Jeep Wrangle has exhibited what is widely know as the "death wobble". 1st time was when vehicle has approximately 10,000 miles and it was noted as being severe, dangerous and very scary. 2nd and 3rd time time and with the same road conditions, it occurred. Mileage was 20,000 and 21,000. On March 13th, and with 23,702 miles, we serviced the vehicle to address a known issue with water pump coolant leak and I explained the front wheel steering "wobble issue". They reviewed, test drove and found no issues with it. 3 miles after picking up vehicle, and at approximate 50 MPH, the unit went into a major wobble condition. I immediately returned to the dealership. Technician recommended steering stabilizer and I was told 9/10 times this fixes the "shake". Service team also explained this is a fairly widespread concern with Jeep Wrangler. I consider this a major risk to me, my family and other drivers around me/vehicle. Only my wife and I have experienced the condition. Dealer was unable to duplicate. No other warning lights or fail conditions are available. On YouTUBE, search Jeep Death Wobble and you will be able to see and witness the condition. Its spot-on. Links below. 24. Power train, Engine, Forward collision avoidance, Mar 14, 2026

My 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (3.6L eTorque, automatic transmission) has had recurring drivetrain instability since about 2,000 miles while under factory warranty. It intermittently has high RPM flare during acceleration, delayed shifting, shuddering under load, and abrupt engagement. At low speeds (about 10–5 mph), it harshly downshifts, grabs suddenly, RPMs jump up and down, and it can feel like it will stall; it has stalled intermittently. Braking feels inconsistent, and at times it feels like the vehicle resists braking or surges before slowing. The forward collision warning/automatic emergency braking has activated with no obstacle present, and the power steering assist has been lost intermittently. There is also an engine tick and a high-pitched whining noise from the engine/drivetrain area. In January 2026, the transmission catastrophically failed and required replacement of the transmission, torque converter, cooler, and control module. The vehicle was out of service for over 24 days. After installation of a new Mopar remanufactured transmission and torque converter, the same symptoms returned. AAMCO has now found that the new torque converter failed, with metal shavings throughout the transmission, in the fluid, and at the bottom of the pan. I was advised that the vehicle should be sent to a Jeep dealership because no codes are currently present. I was also advised that the dealership may replace only the torque converter rather than the entire transmission, despite recurring failure and metal contamination. This presents a safety concern due to loss of acceleration, unpredictable torque engagement, stalling, unintended braking activation, power steering loss, engine/drivetrain noise, and repeated drivetrain failure. I have all the records if requested, file is too large to send in the upload area.

  25. Electrical system, Other or unspecified, Engine, Mar 12, 2026

My vehicle is experiencing EV system failures, stalling, and system shutdown warnings that make the vehicle unsafe to operate. These symptoms began after a recall repair that was performed by the dealership. The dealership initially stated the recall was repaired, but the same symptoms have continued and have now worsened. The vehicle will display EV system warnings and will stall or shut down systems while driving. The air conditioning and other systems also shut down as the vehicle attempts to protect the electrical system. I have brought the vehicle back to the dealership multiple times regarding this issue. Despite the vehicle showing the same symptoms associated with the recall, I am now being told I may have to pay for additional teardown work unrelated to the EV system. This vehicle has become unsafe to drive, and I have requested assistance and escalation from dealership management but have not received a resolution. I am filing this complaint due to the safety risk posed by the vehicle stalling and shutting down systems while in operation.
