Seat belts, frontApr 8, 2021
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2014-2015 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles that may have received an incorrect replacement tensioner cable assembly as part of a previous recall remedy or a subsequent repair. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.
A broken pretensioner cable reduces the effectiveness of the driver's seat belt, increasing the risk of injury.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver seat belt lap pretensioner, free of charge. The recall began on May 5, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N212330040.

Service brakes, hydraulic, antilock/traction control/electronic limited slip, wheel speed sensor/tone ringOct 24, 2019
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon, and 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with a 5.3-liter engine, a 3.08-ratio rear axle and four-wheel drive. If a wheel-speed sensor fails, while the vehicle is traveling between 41 and 60 mph in four-wheel or automatic mode, the Electronic-Brake Control Module (EBCM) software may activate the driveline-protection system.
Unintended activation of the driveline-protection system will cause unintended braking on the wheel on the opposite side of the failed sensor, causing the vehicle to pull to one side unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the EBCM, free of charge. The recall began December 11, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192261050.

Service brakes, hydraulic, power assist, vacuumSep 6, 2019
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Cadillac Escalade, 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2015-2018 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon vehicles. The amount of vacuum created by the vacuum pump may decrease over time.
As the vacuum level drops, the brake assist decreases, increasing braking effort, extending the distance required to stop the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the Electronic Brake Control Module, free of charge. The recall began October 8, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192268490.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade vehicles. Electric power steering (EPS) assist may be lost momentarily, followed by a sudden return of EPS assist.
If EPS assist is lost and then suddenly returns, the driver may have difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the EPS module software, free of charge. The recall began October 12, 2018. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18289.

Seat belts, frontMay 3, 2018
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Tahoe Police Pursuit and Special-Service vehicles. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.
If the pretensioner cable becomes fatigued or breaks, the driver may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the pretensioner cable and seat side-shield, free of charge. The recall began June 19, 2018. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 18156.

Air bags, frontalJul 10, 2017
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Buick Lacrosse and Chevrolet Spark EV, Caprice PPV and SS vehicles, 2014-2017 Buick Encore and Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, 2015-2016 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Tahoe, Trax, Suburban and Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles, and 2015-2017 GMC Sierra HD 2500 and 3500 vehicles. While being previously remedied for recall 16V-651, the affected vehicles may not have received the complete software update necessary to remedy the recall condition. Without the update, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test. During this test, deployment of the frontal air bags and the seat belt pretensioners would not occur in the event of a crash.
A failure of the front air bags or seat belt pretensioners to deploy in the event of a crash necessitating deployment increases the risk of injury to the driver and front passenger.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the SDM software. Vehicles that have had a previous air bag deployment will have the SDM replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2017. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. Power train, transfer case (4-wheel drive)Jun 27, 2014
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles, and model year 2015 GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe vehicles. In the affected vehicles, an electrical signal short may cause the transfer case to shift to neutral without the driver's input.
If the transfer case switches to neutral while the vehicle is parked and the parking brake is not in use, the vehicle may roll away increasing the risk of injury to bystanders. If the transfer case switches to neutral while the vehicle is being driven, the vehicle would lose drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will re-program the software in the transfer case control module, free of charge. The recall began in early August 2014. Owners may contact General Motors customer service at 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). GM's number for this recall is 14192.

Electrical system, softwareJun 6, 2014
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, and 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban vehicles equipped with a base radio and an internal amplifier. The radios in the affected vehicles may become inoperative, and as a result, there would be no audible chime to notify the driver if the door is opened with the key in the ignition or no audible seat belt warning indicating the seat belts were not buckled. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 114, "Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention," and 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Without an audible indicator, the driver may not be aware that the driver's door is open while the key is in the ignition, increasing the risk of a vehicle rollaway. Additionally, there would be no reminder that the driver's or front seat passenger's seat belt is not buckled, which could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the radio software, free of charge. The recall began on July 2, 2014. Chevrolet owners may contact GM's customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GMC owners may contact GM's customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 14315.

In the affected vehicles, the tie rod threaded attachment may not be properly tightened to the steering gear rack.
An improperly tightened tie rod attachment may allow the tie rod to separate from the steering rack, resulting in a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
GM notified all owners, and dealers will inspect the inner tie rods to make sure that they are correctly tightened, replacing the steering gear, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on May 14, 2014. Owners may contact General Motors customer service at 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). GM's number for this recall is 14204. UPON DRIVING IN LOW SPEED, DRY CONDITIONS, BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC (LESS THAN 10MPH), MY 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE LTZ'S BRAKES BECAME UNRESPONSIVE. AT THAT POINT, I PUT ALL MY WEIGHT ON THE BRAKES AND THE CAR CAME TO AN UNCALCULATED STOP. THIS PROBLEM PERSISTED AND DID NOT REMEDY ITSELF. THE DEALERSHIP NOTIFIED ME THAT THERE WAS A FAULTY BRAKE VACUUM PUMP, AND BRAKE BOOSTER, AND THAT IT FAILED BECAUSE OF MOISTURE PENETRATION. FURTHER, GENERAL MOTORS HAS ISSUED TECHNICAL BULLETIN PIT 5361A/B/C TO ADDRESS THIS KNOWN ISSUE. MY TAHOE HAS 59,000 MILES ON IT. AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH, THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY GM AT THE TIME OF MY VEHICLE PURCHASE IN DECEMBER 2014 AND FURTHER, HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED THROUGH TECHNICAL BULLETINS TO THE GM DEALERS. FURTHER, THERE ARE DOCUMENTED CASES WHERE INJURIES/WRECKS HAVE OCCURRED DUE TO THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE. THE GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY HAS BEEN NEGLIGENT IN ITS HANDLING OF THIS IMPORTANT SAFETY (NOT COSMETIC) ISSUE.

WHILE REVERSING IN SLOW SPEEDS INTERMITTENTLY IN FORWARD MOTION, THE BRAKE PEDAL BECOMES VERY HARD AND WILL NOT STOP THE VEHICLE. THE BRAKE PEDAL HAS TO BE DEPRESSED VERY HARD AND THERE IS A VIBRATING MOTION. THE MASTER CYLINDER HAS ALREADY BEEN REPLACED BY THE DEALERSHIP AT AN EXPENSE OF NEARLY $600, BUT THE ISSUE PERSISTS.

HARD BRAKE PEDAL, INCREASED EFFORT IS NEEDED TO DEPRESS BRAKE PEDAL. MOST COMMONLY AT SPEEDS <35 MPH. OFTEN VEHICLE DOES NOT WANT TO STOP. VEHICLE WAS IN MODERATE MORNING RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. VEHICLE IN FRONT STOPPED QUICKLY FROM 40 MPH. TRIED PRESSING BRAKE PEDAL ON 2015 TAHOE TO STOP, PEDAL WAS EXTREMELY HARD AND VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: 8-3390691721. THE MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V719000 (STEERING). I LIVE IN A FAIRLY ARID CLIMATE, WHERE RAIN DOESN'T OCCUR FREQUENTLY. A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, AFTER MY TAHOE HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE RAIN, I NOTICED WATER DRIPPING FROM THE INSIDE DOOR PILLAR WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR. I JUST ASSUMED IT WAS WATER THAN CAME IN FROM THE OUTSIDE WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR. THEN ABOUT NINE DAYS AGO, WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN, WATER BEGAN DRIPPING FROM THE TOP CENTER CONSOLE AREA, IN A STEADY STREAM. WHEN I TOOK IT INTO THE CHEVROLET DEALER THEY SAID THAT THE SEAL ON THE HI-FREQUENCY ANTENNAE (SHARK FIN ANTENNAE), OVER THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS FAULTY, AND THAT WATER WAS LEAKING IN THROUGH IT. SINCE THERE WAS NOT A RECALL FOR MY VIN, AND SINCE RAIN WAS PREDICTED TO CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL DAYS, I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY $452.32 TO HAVE A NEW ANTENNAE INSTALLED. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DID WHAT THEY COULD TO DRY THE AREA OUT IN BETWEEN THE ROOF AND THE CEILING AND LEFT THE COVER OFF THE SIDE DRIVER'S AIRBAG SO IT WOULD DRY, TELLING ME TO RETURN IN A WEEK SO THEY COULD REPLACE THE COVER ON THE AIRBAG. IN ADDITION TO BEING OUT A LOT OF MONEY, I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SIDE AIRBAG POSSIBLY MALFUNCTIONING AFTER BEING WET OVER A PERIOD OF TIME.
Service brakes, Sep 25, 2017
AS I WAS SITTING IN THE VEHICLE IN PARK, I PLACED MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE ASSIST HAD ACTIVATED WHILE IN PARK. I WAS UNABLE TO PUSH THE PETAL DOWN. I WAS ABLE TO MOVE THE SHIFTER INTO DRIVE WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE, BUT THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY PLUNGED FORWARD. AS I CONTINUED TO TRY AND DEPRESS THE BRAKE PETAL, THE VEHICLE FINALLY SLOWED TO A STOP. BEFORE I COULD GET OFF THE ROAD AND OUT OF TRAFFIC, THE BRAKE ASSIST CONTINUED TO BE LOCKED UP AND THERE WAS NO BRAKES IF I SHIFTED INTO REVERSE. I WAS EXTREMELY CONCERNED FOR MINE AND MY CHILDREN'S SAFETY AS THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THE BRAKES DID NOT STOP THE VEHICLE AND WERE DEFECTIVE DUE TO THE VACUUM PUMP "GOING OUT". THE VEHICLE IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD AND HAS 49K MILES.

I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE SINCE JUNE 2015 AND HAD THE TAHOE WITH AUTONATION CHEVY ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS. AT ONE POINT IT WAS THERE FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS. THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE SHAKES AT 77 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. THE ENTIRE FRONT END SHAKES. THEY HAVE CHANGED THE MOTOR MOUNTS, REAR TIRES AND THEY HAVE ALIGNED VEHICLE. THEY HAVE FOUND NOTHING. THEY OFFERED TO DO A BUY BACK BUT OF COURSE WITH A LOSS TO ME AND I FEEL THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM. I DID NOT BUILD THE VEHICLE. NOW AFTER TO SPEAKING TO THE NEW SERVICE MANAGER AT MY DEALERSHIP THEY SAY THERE IS AN ENGINEERING DEFECT. PLEASE FIX IT IS ALL I ASK OF CHEVY. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP???
Wheels, Sep 23, 2017
I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2015 CHEVY TAHOE AND USE IT HERE AND THERE. AS OF NOW I ONLY HAVE 10,000 MILES ON IT HOWEVER THE TIRES WERE BALDING AROUND 6,000 MILES AND EVEN MAYBE BEFORE THEN BUT I DIDN'T THINK TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK SINCE IT WAS BRAND NEW. NOW IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED AND I'M A GENTLE DRIVER AND KEEP IT ON SMOOTH ROADS. AFTER READING ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS I AM AFRAID THE SIDE WALLS WILL BLOW OUT ON ME OR SOMETHING EVEN WORSE MAY HAPPEN. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR SHAKES AND PULLS AS IT FEELS THE ALIGNMENT IS OFF DUE TO POOR TIRES. I AM NOT SURE IF THE DEALERSHIP WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING THEM OR GOODYEAR ASSURANCE FUEL MAX (MY BRAND OF TIRES). I AM SURPRISED THERE HASN'T BEEN A RECALL THIS FAR AS THE ISSUES ARE VERY APPARENT AND QUITE DANGEROUS. IF THERE IS INFO ON WHAT AN OWNER NEEDS TO DO IN ORDER TO GET THE DEFECTIVE TIRES REPLACED WHERE WOULD ONE FIND THAT LISTED OR WHO DO THEY CONTACT AND/OR WILL THEY BE CONTACTED AFTER WRITING A COMPLAINT? NOT ONLY DOES THE CAR PULL EXCESSIVELY BUT IT MAKES A LOUD CLICKING NOISE WHEN TURNING AND SOUNDS LIKE IT IS DIRECTLY FROM THE WHEELS/TIRES, IT DOESN'T HOLD UP WELL IN RAIN OR SNOW DUE TO LACK OF TIRE TREAD AND THE TIRE PRESSURE IS CONSTANTLY DECREASING NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I PUT AIR IN SO IT'S AT THE CORRECT PSI AND EVERY MONTH, MINUS THE FIRST COUPLE MONTHS I HAD THE CAR, THE ONSTAR DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW ALWAYS SHOWS THE PSI AS BEING SIGNIFICANTLY LOW. I JUST DON'T WANT TO FIND MYSELF IN A BAD SITUATION LIKE SOMETHING A LOT WORSE THAN HAVING MY CAR JUST PULL ME INTO THE OTHER LANE ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AKA HAVE THE SIDEWILLS COMPLETELY BLOW OUT WHILE ON A HIGHWAY AND HAVING ONLY 10K MILES ON IT THIS SHOULDN'T BE A CONCERN. A QUALITY TIRE SHOULD LAST FOR YEARS AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF MILES BEFORE THE TREAD IS COMPLETELY WORN DOWN.

WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES MY CAR DOESN'T STOP 100% OF THE TIME. 1 TIME DURING HIGHWAY SLOW MOVING TRAFFIC, 3 TIMES BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY (FLAT SURFACE), 4 TIMES WHEN ON INCLINE/DECLINE OF ROAD. WHEN APPLYING BRAKES, HORRIBLE CHATTERING VIBRATION COMES FROM LEFT FRONT TIRE AREA, CHATTER VIBRATION IS FELT IN BRAKE PEDAL. NO MATTER HOW HARD I APPLY THE BRAKE THE CAR KEEPS GOING - IT WILL FINALLY STOP, BUT I ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME AT THE ONE HIGHWAY OCCURRENCE, 2 TIMES CAR FINALLY STOPPED JUST BEFORE GOING OVER EDGE OF PROPERTY WHEN PULLING FORWARD & BACKWARD TO TURN AROUND IN TIGHT AREA. IN EACH INSTANCE I AM MOVING AT A VERY SLOW SPEED. I CONTACTED DEALERSHIP, THEY TOLD ME I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE CALLING ABOUT THIS HAPPENING BUT SINCE I'M OVER 36,000 WARRANTY THEY WILL CHARGE ME TO CK IT OUT,

AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR. I HAD TO REPLACE THE A/C COMPRESSOR ON MY 2015 TAHOE ABOUT DURING JULY 2015. MY VEHICLE HAS ABOUT 65,000 MILES. THIS WAS UNUSUAL IN THAT I HAVE NEVER HAD TO REPLACE THIS PART IN ANY VEHICLE I HAVE OWNED OVER THE LAST 40 YEARS. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE USING AFTER MARKET REPLACEMENT PARTS BECAUSE THE GM SUPPLY CHAIN IS OUT OF A/C COMPRESSORS BECAUSE THEY ARE REPLACING SO MANY OF THEM IN TAHOE/YUKONS, SILVERADO PICKUPS AND CADILLAC ESCALADES. THE PART COST ME ABOUT $1,400 TO REPLACE THE PART. I CONTACTED GM CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE I WAS BEYOND WARRANTY. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT MY SITUATION IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE BUT PART OF LARGER SYSTEMIC ISSUE IN GM MANUFACTURING. IF GM SUPPLY CHAIN CANNOT KEEP COMPRESSORS IN STOCK BECAUSE THEY ARE REPLACING SO MANY DEFECTIVE PARTS, THIS RISES TO THE LEVEL OF BEING A RECALL.

THERE IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE A/C CONDENSER IN THE CHEVROLET TAHOE 2015. THE AC WILL JUST STOP WORKING AND BLOW HOT AIR. THEY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH A LEAKING CONDENSER FOR QUITE SOME TIME BUT HAVE NOT ISSUED A RECALL. THE WAIT TO GET THE PART IS 8-12 WEEKS WHICH MAKES THE CARS UNUSABLE IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. THE COST FOR REPAIR IS $1200. THEY KNOW THIS IS A PROBLEM YET THEY CONTINUE TO SELL THEIR USED TAHOES WITH THESE FAULTY CONDENSERS. I BELIEVE IS THIS IS FRAUDULENT. I AM STILL WAITING TO GET MINE FIXED. THEY REDESIGNED THE PART TO FIX THE PROBLEM BUT THE BACKLOG IS SO LONG AND THEY ARE USING THEM TO MANUFACTURER THEIR NEW CARS VERSUS SERVICING THEIR EXISTING CLIENT BASE. IF YOU GOOGLE IT, YOU WILL FIND CRAZY STORIES OF PEOPLE TRYING TO GET THIS PROBLEM FIXED FOR MONTHS AND DEALING WITH NO AC IN STATES WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES SUCH AS TEXAS AND NEVADA. I BELIEVE THEY USE THESE IN THEIR 2015 SILVERADOS AND 2015 SUBURBANS. CALLS TO CORPORATE CHEVY DID NOTHING TO HELP. HE JUST TOLD ME HE HANDLES THESE CALLS ALL DAY LONG FOR AC ISSUES. I WOULD HAPPILY JOIN A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT TO PUSH THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE DRIVING IN LOCAL OR HIGHWAY TRAFFIC, THE STEERING WHEEL LOST POWER WHEN TURNED. THE STEERING WHEEL RETURNED TO NORMAL AND WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE THE TURN. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE STABILITY CONTROL AND POWER STEERING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED WHILE THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PALMERO CHEVROLET (1122 4TH AVENUE CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA 20526, PHONE (843)-248-4283) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING SENSOR FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE STEERING SENSOR WAS PLACED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V719000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000. AT SLOW SPEEDS CAR DIES SHUTTING OFF ALL ELECTRIC POWER AND LOCKING US IN THE CAR. STEERING WHEEL JERKS AND CAR DIES. BACKED OUT INTO HIGHWAY AT NIGHT TWO NIGHTS AGO AND CAR DIED IN MIDDLE OF ROAD WITH NO LIGHTS. THERE WAS ENOUGH OF A HILL TO LET THE CAR ROLL OFF OF HIGHWAY OR MY FAMILY COULD HAVE DIED. CAR HAS AROUND 60K MILES ON IT. HAVE READ OTHER ISSUES SIMILAR TO THIS. NO EVIDENCE ON COMPUTER WHEN WE TAKE IT TO DEALER. WE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE HAPPEN AT LEAST FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE LAST ONE WAS THE WORST AND MOST DANGEROUS.

MY A/C CONDENSER STOPPED WORKING ON 07/03/2017. I TOOK MY TRUCK IN TO THE DEALER WHERE I LEASED THE TRUCK, AUTO NATION OF PEMBROKE PINES, FL. I WAS PROMISED THE PART WILL BE IN 3-7 DAYS, IT IS NOW 3 WEEKS, I HAVE SPOKEN TO UPPER LEVEL MANAGEMENT AND I CALLED THE MANUFACTURE GM. I MUST SAY, CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN PISSED POOR. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM SENIOR MANAGEMENT AT GM. I WAS TOLD BY MY SENIOR ADVISOR AT THE DEALER THAT THE CONDENSER WAS SHIPPED BUT IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. THIS IS A TRUCK I ONLY HAD FOR TWO YEARS. I JUST FOUND OUT THE 2015 TAHOE IS THE WORSE MODEL YEAR WITH COMPLAINTS. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH GM.
