THE DRIVER DOOR HANDLE LOCKS THE MINUTE YOU CLOSE THE DOOR, AND BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSANGER SIDE HANDLES BROKE AT THE SAME TIME.FORD WANTS TO CHARGE ME OVER $440.00 TO FIX THEM. THIS IS AN ITEM THAT SHOULD BE FIXED THROUGH OUR WARRANTIES THEY COST AN ARM AND A LEG. THEIR SERVICE MANANGER LARRY TATE ACTED LIKE HE DID NOT CARE WHEN I TALKED TO HIM ABOUT THE SITUATION. THIS HAS ALSO HAPPENED TO ANOTHER FORD FUSION THAT MY MOTHER-N-LAW DRIVES.

  2. Other or unspecified, May 2, 2016

PASSENGER SEAT BELT LIGHT COME ON AND STAYS ON. THE SEAT BELT WARNING GOES OF AFTER FASTENING BUT IF IT'S TAKEN OFF DURING THE TRIP, NEVER ANOTHER WARNING.

  3. Other or unspecified, Apr 24, 2016

DRIVER SIDE INTERIOR DOOR OPENER BROKE. TO ME THIS COULD BE QUITE SERIOUS WHAT IF I'M IN A CRASH AND CAR CAUGHT FIRE WITH DOOR NOT OPENING PROPERLY I COULD BURN TO A CRISPY CRUNCH.IN A SITUATION LIKE THAT IT WOULD BE GOOD TO BE ABLE TO GET AT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE DON'T YA THINK?

  4. Other or unspecified, Apr 5, 2016

THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR LATCH IS BROKEN, DOOR BOUNCE BACK, WILL NOT LOCK.. I HAVE TO LIFT THE HANDLE AND PUSH THE LATCH UP TO SHUT THE CAR DOOR.

  5. Steering, Other or unspecified, Electronic stability control (ESC), Apr 2, 2016

DRIVING AT 60 MPH I COULD HEAR FRICTION WORSENS AND CAR WOULD LOSE MOMENTUM EASILY BECAUSE OF THE FRICTION. THEN I START TO HEAR A KNOCKING SOUND SOMEWHERE IN THE ENGINE PERHAPS OR THE WHEEL UNSURE AND AS ALL THAT WORSENS, I CAN FEEL THE CAR LOSING CONTROL LIKE IT'S GOTTEN A FLAT TIRE. POWER STEERING GOT STIFFER WHILE THE CAR KIND OF DRIFTED LEFT AND THEN RIGHT AS THO I WAS GOING TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. IT WAS REALLY SCARY SO I IMMEDIATELY SLOWED DOWN BECAUSE I HAD NO CONTROL ON THE STEERING.

  6. Other or unspecified, Mar 6, 2016

DIRIVERS SIDE INTERIOR DOOR LATCH NOT WORKING, HAVE TO OPEN WINDOW AND OPEN DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE.

  7. Steering, Electrical system, Other or unspecified, Dec 10, 2015

2012 FUSION AND WE HAVE ALREADY CHANGED THE ROTORS... && MULTIPLE TIRES... ALWAYS GETTING THE TIRE PRESSURE SYMBOL && NOW THERE IS AN ELETRICAL PROBLEM FOR THE POWER STEERING... MANY OF THE FUSES ARE MISSING FROM WHERE THE MANUAL SAID THEY SHOULD BE... MAY HAVE TO PAY THOUSANDS TO GET IT FIXED && STILL ITS JUST A 2012... ID EXPECT SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON A CAR THATS 7-10 YEARS OLD BUT NOT 3...

  8. Electrical system, Other or unspecified, Service brakes, Dec 8, 2015

WHEN TRYING TO START THE CAR FROM PARK ALL WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED, CAR WOULD NOT TURN OVER. LET CAR RESET, AND ABLE TO TURN IT OVER. FORD SELF SYSTEM CHECK VIA DASH CLUSTER WILL SHOW BRAKE AND HYBRID ELECTRIC CHARGING SYSTEM PROBLEMS BUT WILL RESET ITSELF AFTER NEXT KEY CYCLE. NOT ABLE TO FIND CODES FOR PROBLEM. OWNED CAR APPROX 8 MONTHS, EXPERIENCED PROBLEM 4 TIMES ALL WITHIN 1 MONTH.

  9. Other or unspecified, Nov 5, 2015

I HAVE 15,500 MILES ON MY FUSION AND WAS INFORMED BY FORD (WINDOW STICKER) THAT I WOULD HAVE 41 MILES PER GALLON IN THE CITY AND 36 MILES PER GALLON ON THE HIGHWAY. A SAVING FOR THE INCREASED PRICES OF THE HYBRID OF $1,421 EACH AND EVERY YEARS. I WAS LIED TO BY THE STAFF AT THE SKILLMAN FORD DEALERSHIP, I AM LUCKY TO GET 32 MILES PER GALLON, THE SAME AS A REGULAR FUSION. I LOST MONEY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SELL THE VEHICLE FOR THE PRICE OF A HYBRID. FORD MOTOR COMPANY CHEATED ME OUT OF MONEY AND LIED ON THE WINDOW STICKER.

  10. Other or unspecified, Oct 29, 2015

I BOUGHT THIS CAR USED IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR, 2015. THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WILL NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK BY USING THE REMOTE. SOMETIMES IT WILL UNLOCK WITH REMOTE BUT NEVER WILL LOCK!

  11. Other or unspecified, Sep 30, 2015

TURNED ON A/C AND IT ONLY WOULD BLOW HOT AIR. TRIED SEVERAL TIMES, SOME TIMES HOT, SOME TIMES COLD. TECH AT FORD REPLACED BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR, SAID ACTUATOR WAS NOT MOVING. FIX LASTED 5 MINUTES, THEN STARTED BLOWING HOT AIR AGAIN.

  12. Other or unspecified, Sep 21, 2015

WHILE DRIVING AT 45-50MPH THE ENGINE LOST ALL POWER AND THE WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON. I PULLED OVER AND THE CAR STARTED TO SKIP AND TURNED OFF. I SAT A FEW MINUTES AND CRANKED THE CAR AGAIN. THE LIGHT WAS OFF AND THE CAR WENT WITH NO PROBLEM.I TOOK IT TO A SHOP TO SEE IF ANY CODES WOULD SHOW IN THE COMPUTER. NOTHING SHOWED. THE FOLLOWING DAY I WAS DRIVING AT 60MPH AND IT DID THE EXACT SAME THING. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE SHOP A CODE P2111 "THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL SYSTEM STUCK OPEN" SHOWED. ON THE WAY HOME, DRIVING AT 50MPH IT DID THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN.

  13. Power train, Other or unspecified, Engine, Aug 18, 2015

AT FIRST THE RPM'S WOULD INCREASE ( AROUND 500 RPM'S) WHEN THE CAR UPSHIFTED WHEN IT WAS COLD. AS THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION WARMED UP THE INCREASE IN RPM'S UPON UPSHIFT LESSENED. IT APPEARED TO ME THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS "SLIPPING" AS IT WENT THROUGH THE GEARS...YOU COULD HEAR THE ENGINE SPEED UP AND WATCH THE TACH TO CONFIRM WHAT I WAS HEARING FROM THE ENGINE. I TOOK CAR TO DEALER AND THEY CHECKED IT OUT. THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS FUNCTIONING NORMALLY HOWEVER THE CAR STILL DOES IT. NOTE THAT THE CAR WAS UNDER THE 3 YEAR BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY AT THE TIME AND THE SERVICE ADVISOR SAID THAT THE CAR HAS A 60K POWERTRAIN WARRANTY ANYWAY. I DID NOT LIKE HIS STATEMENT. THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE AS IT SOMETIMES REVS BETWEEN SHIFTS WHEN IT IS WARMED UP. FORD SHOULD STEP UP AND REVIEW MY PROBLEM FURTHER. I PLAN TO TAKE THE CAR TO ANOTHER FORD DEALER TO SEE WHAT THEY SAY. PLEASE ADVISE.

  14. Structure, Other or unspecified, Aug 17, 2015

ON 06/25/2015 ,I TOOK MY CAR TO THE FORD DEALER TO HAVE DOOR HANDLE MECHANISM REPAIRED..I WAS TRAPPED IN MY CAR AND I COULD NOT GET OUT.THEY REPAIRED IT AT MY COST,INV254478,$174.14.WHICH IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED UNDER SAFETY DEFECT.THE DOOR COULD NOT BE LOCKED AND IN A ACCIDENT THE DOOR COULD FLY OPEN.ON 08/17/2015 THE OTHER DOOR (PASSENGER SIDE) HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.I TOOK THE CAR INTO THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND I WAS ADVISED BY JOE ALVARADO THAT THE SAFETY DEFECT WAS NOT COVERED PAST 30,000 MILES.I COULD NOT ENTER PART.

  15. Other or unspecified, Aug 12, 2015

AFTER PARKING VEHICLE AND RE-ENTERING, I DISCOVERED THE DRIVER DOOR HANDLE LOCKING MECHANISM IS BROKEN. I AM UNABLE TO LOCK THE DOOR EITHER MANUALLY OR WITH THE KEY FOB.

  16. Other or unspecified, Aug 6, 2015

DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN FROM THE INTERIOR. HAD TO ROLL WINDOWS DOWN AND OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, THE LEVER, INSIDE THE DOOR WAS BROKEN OFF AND WOULD NOT ENGAGE THE DOOR RELEASE. THE ENTIRE DOOR HANDLE COMPONENT WAS REPLACED. THERE WAS NO ABNORMAL USE OR FORCES APPLIED TO THE HANDLE, AND THE HANDLE ITSELF SEEMS TO BE INTACT AND OPERATIONAL FROM VISUAL INSPECTION.

  17. Power train, Vehicle speed control, Other or unspecified, Aug 5, 2015

I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH STALLING, LOSS OF ACCELERATION, DYING WITH MY FUSION. IT HESITATES WHEN DRIVING AND STALLS WHEN DRIVING AND STOPPED. THE WRENCH AND ENGINE LIGHT ARE ON AGAIN. I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY DUE TO THESE ISSUES AS THERE IS NEVER ANY WARNING OF WHEN IT'S GOING TO OCCUR. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY HAD MY THROTTLE BODY REPAIRED/REPLACED BUT THE SAME PROBLEMS CONTINUE.

  18. Other or unspecified, Jul 27, 2015

THE AIR BLOWER FOR HEAT/AC AND THE FRONT WINDOW DEFROSTER STOPPED WORKING. THIS RE-OCCURRED IN FEBRUARY 2015 AND JUNE 2015.

  19. Other or unspecified, Jul 24, 2015

THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR HANDLE BECAME UNLATCHED AND WAS ABLE TO BE PUSHED OPEN WHILE THE DOOR WAS SHUT. THE DOOR IS ABLE TO BE OPENED FROM THE OUTSIDE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS "LOCKED" BECAUSE THE DOOR HANDLE DOES NOT LATCH CORRECTLY.

  20. Other or unspecified, Jul 11, 2015

I BOUGHT A 2012 FORD FUSION JULY 8, 2015. I NOTICED THE DRIVERS SIDE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE WAS A LITTLE FLOPPY AND NOT FLUSH LIKE THE OTHER HANDLES. THEN, I DISCOVERED WHEN I USE THE LOCK BUTTON ON MY KEY FOB, THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR DOES NOT LOCK. HAVE TO USE KEY HOLE LOCK. I KNOW THERE IS A RECALL ON THE NEWER MODELS, I THINK THIS MODEL NEEDS A RECALL AS WELL!
