Recalls and investigations

  1. Power train, manual transmissionJun 9, 2026

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2018 Focus and 2013-2016 Fusion vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall numbers 18V169 and 18V845. The clutch may fracture, resulting in damage to the transmission assembly and possibly a transmission fluid leak.

A transmission fluid leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components can increase the risk of a fire.

Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Additionally, dealers will inspect Focus vehicles and replace the clutch assembly as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed August 5, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S43. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov on July 6,2026.

  2. Service brakes, hydraulic, foundation components, hoses, lines/piping, and fittingsMar 10, 2023

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2013-2018 Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles. The front brake hoses may rupture and leak brake fluid.

A brake fluid leak will increase brake pedal travel and extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the front brake hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2023. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 23S12.

  3. Power train, automatic transmission, gear position indication (prndl)Jun 10, 2022

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2013-2019 Escape, 2013-2018 C-Max, 2013-2016 Fusion, 2013-2021 Transit Connect, and 2015-2018 Edge vehicles. The bushing that attaches the shifter cable to the transmission may degrade or detach.

A damaged or missing bushing may prevent the vehicle from shifting into the intended gear, and cause the vehicle to move in an unexpected direction. Additionally, the vehicle may roll after the driver selects the 'Park' position. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Dealers will replace the under hood shift bushing and add a protective cap over the shift cable bushing, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters, informing owners of the safety risk, were mailed July 1, 2022. Remedy parts are expected to be available in 4th Quarter 2022. Owner notification letters were mailed October 27, 2022. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S43.

  4. Service brakes, hydraulic, pedals and linkagesJan 13, 2022

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2014-2015 Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, and 2015 Mustang vehicles originally sold or ever registered, in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Hawaii. Exposure to certain environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, high humidity, and salt air can cause the brake pedal bumper to corrode and separate from the brake pedal.

A separated brake pedal bumper can cause the brake lights to illuminate continuously, causing confusion to other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash. On automatic transmission vehicles, a missing brake pedal bumper can allow the driver to shift the vehicle out of the "PARK" position without depressing the brake, allowing the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of injury.

Dealers will replace the brake pedal bumpers and clutch pedal bumpers, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on March 4, 2022. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 13, 2022. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S02.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Fiesta, 2013-2014 Fusion, 2015 Mustang, 2013-2015 Escape and C-Max, 2012-2015 Focus, 2014-2016 Transit Connect, 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ, and 2015 MKC vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and repaired under recalls 15V-246, 16V-643 or 17V-210, however the repair may not have been completed properly. A component within the door latches may break making the doors difficult to latch and/or leading the driver or a passenger to believe a door is securely closed when, in fact, it is not.

A door that is not securely latched could open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury to a vehicle occupant.

Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the latch date codes to confirm if the repair was done correctly, and replace the side door latches if necessary, free of charge. Owners will also have the option to inspect their own vehicle's door latches and enter the date codes into a website to determine if the latches are correct. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 27, 2020. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 20S30.

  17. Power train, automatic transmission, control module (tcm/pcm/tecm)Nov 18, 2014

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Ford Fusion vehicles manufactured July 27, 2013, to October 31, 2014, 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid vehicles manufactured February 24, 2014, to October 31, 2014, and 2015 Ford Fusion Energi vehicles manufactured July 14, 2014, to October 31, 2014. The coating on portions of the Restraint Control Module (RCM) may crack, and when exposed to humidity, circuits on the printed circuit board may short.

The short circuits could cause the frontal air bags, side curtain air bags and the seat belt pretensioners to not function as intended when needed, increasing the risk of occupant injury in the event of a crash.

Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the RCM, free of charge. Parts are not currently available. The recall began on May 26,2015. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 14S21.

The affected seat backs may have insufficient strength to meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."

The back of the subject seats may become loose or lean while driving and potentially increase the risk of injury in certain crashes.

AT APPROXIMATELY 3AM AWOKE SMELLING ELECTRICAL FIRE. FOLLOWED THE SMELL TO THE GARAGE AND DISCOVERED THAT THE PHEV CHARGER PLUG HAD COMPLETELY BURNED UP ALONG WITH THE OUTLET RECEPTACLE, PLASTIC RECEPTACLE BOX AND SOME OF THE STUD THE RECEPTACLE BOX WAS ATTACHED TO. SOMEHOW THE ATTACHED GARAGE STRUCTURE DID NOT BECOME ENGULFED; RATHER, THE FIRE WENT OUT SOMEHOW BY ITSELF. UNPLUGGED THE CHARGER FROM THE CAR AT 3:11AM AND MADE SURE THE PANEL CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS COMPLETELY IN THE OFF POSITION. LOOKED AT THE ANDROID MYFORD APP AND DISCOVERED THAT AT 2:27AM THE CAR SENT A MESSAGE "SCHEDULED CHARGE DID NOT BEGIN - EXTERNAL FAULT." THE APP ALSO REPORTED THE FOLLOWING AT 3:11AM, YOUR VEHICLE HAD AN ACCIDENTAL UNPLUG WHILE CHARGING.' HOWEVER, THE CAR APPEARED TO BE FULLY CHARGED. THROUGH THE PROCESS OF INVESTIGATING THE FIRE WITH THE INSURANCE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CHARGER PLUG IS WHERE THE FIRE STARTED. WE POSSESS A COPY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT ON THE CAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT. *TR

PULLING INTO PARKING SPACE, ALMOST STOPPED, AND CAR LUNGED FORWARD. JUMPING CURB. LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS INJURED BUT DID DAMAGE CAR. TWO DAYS LATER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. FORD HAD THE CAR FOR A WHOLE WEEK AND SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND A THING WRONG WITH IT. THE BODY IS NOW REPAIRED BUT I AM LEERY OF DRIVING IT. THE CONSUMER STATED ON JUNE 22, 2015, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONSUMER RETURNED TO THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER HAS SINCE TRADED THE VEHICLE. UPDATED 08/10/15*JB

  13. Back over prevention, Apr 4, 2015

THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED W/ FORD'S DRIVER ASSIST PACKAGE WHICH INCLUDES BLIS (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM). BLIS ONLY WORKS AS DESCRIBED 50% AT BEST AND EVEN THEN IS WHOLLY INADEQUATE AND NO BETTER THAN NOT HAVING. WHEN BLIS DOES WORK, BY THE TIME THE INDICATOR TRIGGERS THE VEHICLE TRIGGERING IT WAS ALREADY IN THE BLIND SPOT. BLIS TYPICALLY DOES NOT INDICATE WHEN A VEHICLE IS IN THE BLIND SPOT AND TENDS TO BE TRIGGERED EVEN WHEN NO VEHICLE IS PRESENT. IF THE VEHICLE IN/APPROACHING THE BLIND SPOT IS MOVING FAST ENOUGH (35+ MPH), BY THE TIME THE INDICATOR COMES ON THE VEHICLE HAD ALREADY COME AND GONE; THAT'S IF THE INDICATOR WAS TRIGGERED AT ALL. THE INDICATOR IS ALSO ON THE FAR END OF THE MIRROR AND ONLY A SMALL LITTLE LIGHT WHICH DISTRACTS THE DRIVER DUE TO HAVING TO TURN EYES/HEAD FAR ENOUGH TO THE SIDE TO SEE THE INDICATOR. THE MAIN REASON FOR THE COMPLAINT IS THAT NON-DRIVER ASSIST PACKAGE FORD FUSION MODELS COME STANDARD WITH BLIND SPOT MIRRORS WHICH ALLOWS THE DRIVER TO SEE THE BLIND SPOTS WITHOUT HAVING TO TURN THE HEAD (TURNING THE HEAD WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD OF AN ACCIDENT) BUT THE DRIVER ASSIST PACKAGE MODELS ONLY HAVE BLIS AND BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION OF THE INDICATOR THE DRIVER CANNOT ADD A THIRD PARTY BLIND SPOT MIRROR TO AUGMENT THE INEFFECTIVE BLIS. BLIS SHOULD BE IN ADDITION TO THE BLIND SPOT MIRRORS, NOT REPLACE THEM WHEN THEY DO NOT MEET THE SAME FUNCTIONS AND DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED (EVEN WHEN TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE TIMES WHEN FORD SAYS BLIS DOES NOT WORK). THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO FORD'S ATTENTION TO NO AVAIL. THERE HAVE ALREADY BEEN SEVERAL TIMES WHEN DRIVING THAT I'VE PERSONALLY ALMOST HIT SOMEONE BECAUSE THE INDICATOR WAS NOT TRIGGERED OR WHEN HAVING TO TURN MY HEAD TO DOUBLE CHECK WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC, BOTH OF WHICH WERE NOT AN ISSUE WITH MY PREVIOUS NON-DRIVER ASSIST PACKAGE MODEL. *TR

DRIVING DOWN RURAL RESIDENTIAL AREA ROAD AT NIGHT. CAR ILLUMINATED "STOP SAFELY NOW" WARNING AND LOST POWER. CAR STALLED AND WOULD NOT RE-START LEAVING ME STRANDED. TOW TRUCK WAS CALLED AND PICKED UP CAR. DEALER REPORTED THAT CAR BLEW 125 AMP FUSE AND SEVERAL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS DAMAGED. THIS OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS AFTER CAR'S LEAKY TRANSMISSION WAS REPAIRED. CAR STILL IN SERVICE DEPARTMENT. *TR

  15. Tires, Apr 1, 2015

I HAVE A 2014 FORD FUSION THAT COMES WITH CONTINENTAL TIRES. IN THE 14 MONTHS I HAVE OWNED THE CAR , I HAVE HAD 2 TIRES BLOW OUT. PRIOR TO THIS CAR I NEVER HAD A FLAT TIRE, NOW I'VE HAD 2 . THE FIRST BLOWOUT WAS AT 1000 MILES AND THE SECOND TIRE BLEW OUT AT 8000 MILES. BOTH HAPPENED ON ROADS WHERE ALL THE OTHER CARS DROVE BY WITHOUT ISSUE. THERE ARE COMPLAINTS ALL OVER THE INTERNET ABOUT HOW EASILY CONTINENTAL TIRES BLOW OUT. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY RISK AND ALSO THE TIRES WERE ALMOST $300 EACH TO REPLACE. BOTH FORD AND CONTINENTAL SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS FAULTY PRODUCT AND ADDRESS THE SAFETY ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. ALSO THE TIRE WRENCH THAT COMES WITH THE CAR BENT WHILE TAKING THE LUGS OFF, FORD REPLACED IT ONCE, THE REPLACEMENT ONE ALSO BENT WHILE CHANGING THE SECOND BLOWN TIRE. *TR

  16. Steering, Mar 31, 2015

ON FRIDAY MARCH 27 2015 I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND I LOST ALL CONTROL OVER MY CAR STEERING. I WAS ABLE TO PULL MY CAR TO A SAFE LOCATION AND COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. IT WAS ME AND MY SON IN THE CAR AT THE TIME THIS ALL HAPPEN. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN GOING FASTER THAN WHAT I WAS IT COULD HAVE CAUSED ME TO WRECK. I CALLED THE DEALER SHIP WHEN I GOT THE CAR STOPPED. THEY INSTRUCTED ME TO CALL THE WRECKER SERVICE THAT THEY HANDLE SO I DID. ONCE THEY GOT THE CAR THERE THEY LOOKED AT IT THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY WITCH WAS MONDAY THE 30TH THEY CAME TO A CONCLUSION THAT THE CARS NETWORK HAD SHUT COMPLETELY DOWN ON ME WHILE I WAS DRIVING . THEY ARE STILL NOT SURE WHY IT DID THAT. MY CAR IS STILL IN THE SHOP HOWEVER FORD MOTOR COMPANY GAVE ME A RENTAL CAR UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY APRIL 7TH 2015 AT THERE EXPENSE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR HAVING A COMPUTER PROBLEM . I HAVE ASKED FORD MOTOR COMPANY TO BUY THE CAR BACK AND THEY WILL NOT BC ITS NOT A TRANSMISSION ISSUE. AND I CAN NOT TRADE IT IN DUE TO THE AMT OWED ON IT. SO THEY HAVE INSTRUCTED ME TO CONTACT MY BBB OF MY STATE TO FILE THE LEMON LAW SO I HAVE DONE THAT AND THE BBB HAS GIVEN ME A NUMBER TO REACH YALL BUT IM DOING IT ON UR WEBSITE INSTEAD. I FEEL THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY SHOULD TAKE ALL INTO CONSIDERATION AS WELL AS ME AND MY FAMILY SAFETY INTO CONSIDERATION AND BUY BACK THE CAR . *TR

WHILE TRAVELING SLIGHTLY DOWNHILL ON A FREEWAY, IN 10-15MPH STOP AND GO TRAFFIC......THE BRAKES FAILED ON MY ENERGI. I WAS APPLYING THE BRAKES A LITTLE, GETTING BACK SOME EV CHARGE; WHEN THE CAR IN FRONT STOPPED AND WHEN I PUSHED HARDER ON THE PEDAL IT WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THE BRAKES FAILED......CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. *JS

DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AROUND 35-40 MPH COMING UP TO A LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO ACCELERATE BY ITSELF, HAD TO HIT THE BRAKES, THANKFULLY IT STOPPED. MY WIFE WAS DRIVING AND WAS NOT USING CRUISE CONTROL. THE WEATHER OUTSIDE WAS COLD. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. I HOPE IT IS THE LAST. THIS IS A FORD FUSION HYBRID WITH THE 2.0 L ENGINE. BEING A HYBRID THERE IS NO SPARE TIRE. THEY HAVE RUN FLAT TIRES. IF YOU GET A FLAT TIRE LATE AT NIGHT AND CELL PHONE SERVICE IS BAD YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. I HOPE THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO SOMEONE. *TR

  21. Service brakes, Jan 18, 2015

MY WIFE WAS TRAVELING DOWN A LOCAL ROAD (5 LANES) AND SPEED LIMIT 40 MPH GETTING INTO THE CENTER LEFT TURN LANE, THERE WERE THREE ADDITIONAL CARS IN FRONT OF HER. SHE WAS PROBABLY DOING ABOUT 15 MPH AT MOST AND BEGAN TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL WHEN SHE EXPERIENCED WHAT WE SUBSEQUENTLY LEARNED IS CALLED A "HARD STOP/HARD BRAKE" - THIS IS WHEN THE ELECTRONIC BRAKES FAIL AND THE MANUAL BRAKES TAKE OVER. LUCKILY, SHE IS A VERY CAUTIOUS DRIVER AND NOT PRONE TO QUICK STOPS. THE CAR SLOWED AND FINALLY CAME TO A HALT WITHOUT HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF HER AFTER SHE DEPRESSED THE BRAKE TWICE. IT IS VERY PROBABLE THAT SHE DID NOT DEPRESS REALLY FAR DOWN NOT BEING AWARE OF HOW THE MANUAL BRAKES ARE SUPPOSED TO TAKE OVER IF THE ELECTRONIC BRAKES FAIL. SHE SUBSEQUENTLY BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE A LOW-GRADE CLICKING/GRINDING NOISE WHEN SHE WOULD HAVE THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED AFTER BEING AT A COMPLETE STOP. SHE TOOK THE CAR INTO THE FORD DEALERSHIP FOR IMMEDIATE EXAMINATION. SHE HAS BEEN TOLD THAT THE DEALERSHIP HAD TO ORDER A NEW ABS MODULE. THE FEAR FOR HER IS WHAT WOULD CAUSE SUCH A FAILURE SO EARLY IN THE LIFE CYCLE OF THE CAR (12,000 MILES) PLUS IF IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ABS MODULE IS IT A DESIGN FLAW IN MODULE AND WILL IT CONTINUE TO HAPPY OF THE LIFESPAN OF THE CAR. *TR

  22. Electronic stability control (ESC), Service brakes, Engine, Jan 17, 2015

I AVOIDED ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT CUT ME OFF ON THE EXPRESSWAY BY HONKING THE HORN, SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES AND QUICKLY CHANGING LANES. AS SOON AS I MANEUVERED INTO AN EMPTY LANE, MY VEHICLES INSTRUMENT PANEL WENT DARK, THE HORN STOPPED SOUNDING, ALL GAUGES WENT TO ZERO AND THE CAR LOST ALL ELECTRIC POWER (INCLUDING STEERING ASSIST) AND THE ENGINE STUMBLED. AFTER A SECOND OR TWO EVERYTHING ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL RESET. ONCE EVERYTHING CAME BACK ON, THE ENGINE WAS ON A REDUCED POWER MODE AND PUSHING THE ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOOR DID NOT MAKE THE CAR ACCELERATE. WITH THE VEHICLE RAPIDLY LOOSING SPEED, I WAS ABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE INTO THE SHOULDER OF THE EXPRESSWAY. I SHIFTED THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL AND TURNED THE CAR OFF BY MOVING THE KEY TO "ACCESSORY" AND THEN RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. ONCE RESTARTED, I SHIFTED BACK INTO DRIVE AND DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR. THE CAR ACCELERATED NORMALLY AND ALL ELECTRONIC FUNCTIONS WERE WORKING. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAYED EVERYTHING NORMALLY. THERE WAS NO "CHECK ENGINE" OR OTHER WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND NO WARNING MESSAGES WERE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL SCREEN. I DROVE MY CAR ANOTHER 6 MILES TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES. *TR

  23. Power train, Jan 4, 2015

MY DAUGHTERS CAR WAS PARKED APPROX. 12-14 HOURS BEFORE SHE WENT TO USE IT AGAIN. SHE TRIED TO REMOTE START IT BUT THE ENGINE SHOOK VIOLENTLY AND SHUT OFF SAYING IT WASN'T IN PARK. SHE TURNED REMOTE OFF & TRIED TO START IT BY KEY. SAME THING HAPPENED. TOOK EMERGENCY BREAK OFF & TRIED AGAIN, IT IMMEDIATELY WENT BACKWARDS ABOUT 2 FT., DID THE SAME THING & SHUT OFF, SAYING NOT IN PARK. I CHECKED ONLINE FOR HELP & SAW THAT A RECALL IS IN PROGRESS STARTING 1-5-15 FOR THIS. CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE & HAD IT TOWED TO A DEALER. SHE IS 700 MILES FROM HOME, SUPPOSED TO START A NEW JOB, HAD THE CAR FOR 4 MONTHS AND IT ONLY HAS 2300 MILES ON IT. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF SAFETY IN THIS BRAND NEW CAR AND MUCH MORE UNCOMFORTABLE THAT IT HAPPENED SO FAR FROM HOME. OF COURSE IT HAPPENED ON SATURDAY, AFTER HOURS. THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. WHO'D THINK IT WOULDN'T BE DEPENDABLE?. ALWAYS BEEN A FORD FAN, BUT I HAD A HUGE ISSUE NOT TO LONG AGO AS WELL!!! DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON . *TR

  24. Suspension, Dec 30, 2014

EARLY ON IN OWNERSHIP AND UNDER HEAVY ACCELERATION FROM A DEAD STOP, THE FRONT TIRES (GOODYEAR EAGLE 235/45R18 98Y) WOULD LOCK, HOP, SKIP UNTIL ACCELERATION REDUCE. AS OF MID-DECEMBER, UNDER EVEN LIGHT ACCELERATION FROM A DEAD STOP GOING UP HILL, THE FRONT TIRES WOULD LOCK, HOP, SKIP. THE DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED THE EXISTENCE OF THE PROBLEM 11/24/2014. THE DEALERSHIP TESTED THE ISSUE PER FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND FOUND THAT FUSIONS WITH THE SAME TIRES PRODUCED THE SAME UNWANTED RESULTS. THOUGH FORD MOTOR COMPANY IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, IT WILL NOT AUTHORIZED TIRE REPLACEMENT TO FORD FUSIONS WITH THE ECO-BOOST, 2.L ENGINES VEHICLES. FORD'S POSITION, ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, IS THAT THE MOUNTED GOODYEAR TIRES ARE SOLD AS "SPORT" TIRES AND AS "SUMMER" TIRES. VIRGINIA HAS FOUR SEASONS AND FORD SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THE MOUNTED TIRES WERE NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THE ANNUAL CLIMATE CHANGES IN THIS STATE. *JS

  25. Steering, Electrical system, Dec 18, 2014

ON AT LEAST 3 OCCASIONS WHEN TURNING LEFT USUALLY A HARD LEFT TURN AND USUALLY WHEN I PARK THE POWER STEERING GOES OUT AND THE DASH LIGHTS UP. IT HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES AND THEY CANNOT FIND A PROBLEM BUT IF THE STEERING GOES OUT ON A TURN AT A HIGHER SPEED IT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THE DEALER SAID WHEN THE PROBLEM HAPPENS AGAIN TO DRIVE STRAIGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND DON'T TURN OFF THE CAR AND THAT ONLY WORKS IF THEY ARE OPEN. I AM CONCERNED!!! *TR
